"Deep in my heart I'm concealing things that I'm longing to say. Scared to confess what I'm feeling - frightened you'll slip away." ~ From the movie Evita
Longing
It was a rather well-known fact that Sirius Black was once a ladies' man; he flirted with anything that was a female species, attractive and wasn't related to him. And went out with one girl a week back in his Hogwarts days. And did…things with them. That was the life for him. Being one of the most popular and handsome guy at Hogwarts, earning female attention wherever he went and having awesome friends.
But never in his life did he actually experience what love really is. Yes, he loved James and Remus like they were his own brother and he loved Tonks like the little sister he never had, but he never knew what being truly loved felt.
And as he looked over at the girl that stole his heart, he felt an intense longing that he had never felt before. He fought the urge to kiss her, touch her, love her. He knew it was all wrong - how could he forget when it was hitting him in the face everyday? - But as some unknown muggle had once said, you can't help who you love.
Sirius tried to fight back the emotions that threatened to overcome him, and as he felt Hestia Jones touch his arm and smile at him, he knew what he had to do. He had to forget her, knowing no matter how hard he tried, no one could ever replace Bella Potter. But he had to try.
And if he had looked back one more time, he would have seen longing - much similar to his - and love shining on those emerald green eyes.
A.N: Hey! Everyone having a nice day/night? I know I'm not. Stupid English homework. Why did they have to put me in a advanced English class? WHY?
Anyway, here's a little drabble/one-shot thingy that I just wrote out of boredom trying to figure out the meaning of Wear Long. It goes with my other one-shot "Two Witches That Likes Older Men" except this one is in Sirius's point-of-view and is more of a drabble than a one-shot. Check out my other fanfics if you have time!
Now comes the advertisement part. I'm starting to think about not advertising fanfics from now on. It's a pain in the as - I mean, butt. (I promised my friend that I could go on one whole day without saying one bad word.) Read Rosalie Potter by Benihana. It's a Fem!Harry/Cedric fanfic.
Thanks for reading! Reviews would be really appreciated! Hope you're having a better day than I'm having... :)
Ba-bye!
