It was free period, and last period of the school day. Gabriella was sat in the quietest corner of the library, concentrating on a huge pile full of homework. She pulled her eyes away from the homework, and towards the clock, which was ticking and toking away, every second making the minute drag on. It was 2:44pm. Just sixteen more minutes till she can see troy. She smiles to herself, after imagining the fun that she and Troy were going to have after school. But then puts her attention back to the Chemistry homework she had been doing before.
Meanwhile, Troy's in the gym. Heart pounding, sweat dripping down his forehead. He takes his gaze away from the ball, distracted by the fact that he only has to wait 16 more minutes to see Brie. 16….16…16…15! Troy grunted. From being so distracted the ball had been chucked straight towards his head, he fell to the ground with the force of the ball. Pushing his hands down to break the fall. He shook his head and sat up, to the basketball team staring down on him. "Bolton? What's the matter with you today?" Asked coach. Troy just shrugged his shoulders, despite knowing it was his day-dreams about Gabriella that was distracting him. Chad leant forward, hand out and helped Troy to his feet. "Okay guys, that'll do for today, hit the showers and I'll see you free period Monday!" Troy sprinted to the showers, and got changed as quick as he could before, sprinting for the library.
Gabriella was leant back in her chair in between two shelves, her rucksack underneath the edge of the seat she had moved to. A book held firmly between her hands, blocking everything in front of her out. Troy slowly walked then stopped, standing behind the chair she was sat on, grinning. He grabbed the back of her chair and leant it back quickly, making Gabriella jump, scream a little and making her drop her book onto her face. "Shh" a bunch of freshman students whispered, pressing a finger to their lips. He leant the chair back down and walked so he was stood in front of Gabriella "Sorry Brie" said Troy whilst pulling the hard-cover book away from her face. "I know wildcat, but next time don't scare me". Troy nodded showing her he understand and kissed her nose gently. "Come- on, let's go home, and ill fix you all up and be doctor Troy!" Gabriella giggled at his remark, scooped up her back-pack, took his hand and slowly strolled out of the library.
They were both as Brie's grabbing her stuff to stay at Troy's from the weekend, since both their parents were out. They had decided on Troy's house, since it was a lot bigger than Gabriella's. After gathering her few bits she'd need and saying goodbye to their parents they walked back over the street to Troy's.
