Figures in the Night Part 2
"Wake up Shelby!" Daisy yells.
Shelby turns over and groans.
"You're the only one not up Shelby." Kat tells her.
"Oh, that's ok," Jules starts, "She can stay here. It will be so much better without her."
"Yeah, that's right Princess, you think that, k?"
"We have classes in 45 minutes ya know. If you don't get up, we all suffer. And if you don't get up I'll...I'll tell everyone you like, um, Auggie!" Daisy says trying to push her out of bed. Her eyes are wide, not knowing what to say to make her get up.
"Hey!" Jules whines.
Daisy rolls her eyes. "Get up! I'm hungry!"
"I don't care." She didn't feel like getting up. She stayed out late last night with Scott.
*Flashback*
"This was so nice Scott, thank you." Shelby tells him.
"Well, you deserved a get away." Scott says kissing her forehead. They had a moonlight stroll on the dock and now they were holding hands walking back to each of their dorms.
Shelby was so happy and content that she was almost speechless.
Their hands slowly separated and they kissed one more time.
"See you tomorrow." Shelby says.
Scott smiles and nods.
*End of Flashback*
He's so sweet. Shelby thinks. The thought of him made her smile.
"Shel," Daisy tries.
"Chill, I'm up." She says.
Shelby rolls over and forces herself out of bed.
"Darn, she got up." Jules says to anyone who is listening.
"Awww, poor little Juliette is hurt! Too bad!" Shelby feels pleased at upsetting her.
They all finish getting ready and go to the main lodge to eat breakfast. Shelby and Scott are sitting next to each other in deep conversation and Auggie is waiting for Juliette to come.
"Yo Ezzy boy!" David calls.
Ezra turns around knowing the all to familiar voice. "David, hi." Ezra says bitterly.
"Ya know I was thinking. Daisy knows me all too well. Have any tidbits on how else to get her?" David says knowing that it will annoy him.
"You're asking me? What is your problem??"
"Well...It all started out when my father wanted a son..." David begins.
Ezra looks at him with a cold stare.
"What?! I'm telling you my problem-that is what you wanted to know."
Ezra ignores his stupidity and walks away.
"But I'm not finished!" David yells after him.
Ezra seated himself next to Auggie.
"Yo, man, don't let him mess with your head. He gets to everyone." Auggie says.
"Except Daisy." Ezra says sadly.

Classes are let out and Kat and Daisy are talking.
"So I hear-actually I've seen-David loves to flirt with you, huh?" Kat says interested in what Daisy has to say about him. "What are gonna do?"
"I dunno. I think he's alright."
"Just alright? Come on Daze, I know you better!" Kat argues.
"Well, ok.." Daisy trails off when she sees David coming toward her.
"Well, I'll leave you two lovebirds alone!" Kat says walking away.
Daisy smiles not realizing it.
"So, uh, I was thinking.." David tries to say.
"You were actually thinking?! Wow! That's a first." Daisy teases.
"Yeah, well, I'd only do it for you." David grins. "So, anyway, wanna sit with me at dinner tonite?"
"Yea, I'd like that." Daisy's heart is beating fast.
"Great," David says, "See you later." He walks away and Daisy walks to the dorm.
When she walks in everyone is staring at her.
"What?"
"Oh, nothing!" They all look away pretending as if they saw nothing.
Daisy goes over to her bed only to find a note with her name on it. She is a bit surprised. She opens it.
MEET ME AT THE DOCKS! MIDNIGHT - COME ALONE! DON'T BE LATE.
There is no signature.
David. Daisy automatically thinks. She smiled to herself.
*12:00 Midnight*
Daisy walks to the docks as quietly as she can.
"David?" She whispers.
"Daisy!" a voice says.
