Curse of Protoboy II: The Haunting
Chapter 1
In the night of November 13, 2010, it was a cold and stormy night in the outskirts of San Francisco with each thunderclap; the air gets colder along with the wind. Then all of a sudden as another thunderclap struck, BANG! BANG! It was the sound of a rifle firing on a victim. With each thunderclap, another victim was killed until the body count reached 6 kills. By the time last bullet was shot, a mother, father, and 4 children were shot to death in their sleep with no motive.
About a few hours later, the police finally arrived at the house. "My God, crimes get worse everyday." The sheriff declared as he saw the bodies were dragged out of the house on their gurneys. "Yes, I agree with you, Sheriff." The detective replied. "So, what's the prognosis?"
"Well, all of the victims were shot in the head and flipped onto their stomachs."
"Are there any suspects?"
"Yes, 18 year old Dan Morello is our lead suspect for the murders. He later killed himself in a bathroom by slitting both of his wrists shortly after he committed the murders and on the bathroom wall, the words, FORGIVE ME, were written in his blood."
"What was the time when it occurred?"
"Hmm, I'm not sure, but I guess it took place around 4:00 A.M. to be exact."
"I see."
"Oh, Detective Price, when we were searching through the killer's room, I came across a journal in his desk and I think you should see it"
The sheriff reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a small black book and handed it to the detective. When the detective opened up the journal, he found that there weren't any journal entries, most of the pages only contained scribbles of black pen. Occasionally, there were only one liner notes including, HE WATCHES ME, HE WILL KILL ME, and I HAVE TO STOP THIS.
"He must have been haunted by the mind and he probably committed the murders and took his life in order to stop his insanity." The detective declared as he closed the journal.
"I agree with you, Detective." The sheriff replied. Then, a doctor approached both the detective and the sheriff. "We're ready to wrap up, sheriff." The doctor declared. "Thanks Ken." The sheriff replied. "I think should get out of here too. Good night, Detective Price." "Good night, sheriff." The detective replied back. The sheriff walked away, got into his patrol car, and lit up his cigar. He looked out his car window and watched the ambulance drive away. Suddenly, at the corner of his left eye, something appeared in top left bedroom window. The sheriff turned his head to look. What he saw were two bright red eyes staring directly at him. There was face that was included that looked angry. The sheriff looked away and looked again; the face was gone. He started the car and drove off. "What was that?" The sheriff thought as reached the street.
