Musical Chairs Competition Round 4: action: ballroom dancing

"Nezumi, why are we sneaking through a ballroom of all things?" Shion whispered as the duo crawled underneath a punch table. "I mean, we could have gone around the side of the building to get to the meeting point." Although, I have to admit, this music is rather nice.

Nezumi raised an eyebrow at him. "You shouldn't question me, you know. Besides, outside is too open. It's easier to be spotted from far away."

Suddenly, the tablecloth was lifted up by an unfamiliar hand. Quickly, Nezumi pulled Shion's head down and started to kiss him. Shion's face turned burning red.

"Get out from under the table, you two. Save your lovefest for a more private time. Now, why aren't you dancing?" the man barked down at them.

With Shion's face still the same tomato shade, Nezumi pulled them both up from under the table while still appearing absolutely elegant. How does have such an elegant air at a time like this?

"We were merely taking a break, do not fear. Come, Shion!" Nezumi said with a wink.

They grasped each other's shoulders, and awkwardly sidled their way onto the ballroom dance floor.

"I have some experience from the theater about ballroom dancing. Just follow what I do, and don't even think about stepping on my toes, and you'll be fine."

But it was moderately easy for Shion to just lose himself in the slow, lyrical tunes playing out. They stepped in sync, and Shion found himself uncontrollably growing closer and closer to Nezumi.

"Is our dance real?" Shion whispered into his partner's ear.

"Of course, Shion."

Nezumi was against the one to initiate the kiss as lips locked onto lips, and Shion felt absolute bliss.
