Bink's Bones

This was once a mighty ship.

Now she wanders aimlessly through the misty waters of Devil's Triangle.

Once, she dreamed of life, of light, of something to break the monotony.

But, her memory is foggy,

so she drifts,

a wayward shadow of the once bright beacon that danced across the globe.

This golden maiden once guided her charge through any storm,

carrying high the dreams of her crew,

now, in all her battered, broken glory,

she clings listlessly to the prow.

Gilded doors once standing tall and proud

now cracked and faded, leaving her to hang open

like a wound

Halls once flowed happily with

hearts dancing to the rhythm of the beat,

now rest to the sound of silence.

He drifts through all these places, his existence a reminder of her former life.

But there is no life left in him,

what remains of him is skeletal

He sees the halls stretch to fill the emptiness they carry,

The ghosts of days past haunt him with every step.

A cracked voice cries feebly

"Gather up all of the crew

It's time to ship out Bink's Brew-"

Here comes the chorus

Nothing but bones rattle on

of course they do.

Death bleaches coral voices snuffed

long ago.

This was once a mighty ship.

Now, all that's left are bones,

Cursed to rot in the sea of the damned.
