The whole room was silent, as I read those last few words of Kim's letter. My heart felt like it had just been ripped into pieces; torn to shreds. Kimberly has moved on. How could this be? We were always supposed to be together stick through the rough edges like super-glue to a broken window.
Is it the long distance between us? Has she found someone else who's better than me? I uncontrollably started to break down and cry in front of everyone, and they all started patting me on the shoulder.
Adam grabbed the letter from my shaking hand, and began to read it out loud to everyone.
"What, that can't be right! How could she?" Katherine stated once Adam finished. " That's inconclusive, why would she do that? That's not like her! Maybe she's been set up to write this, Tommy." Billy concluded.
I shook my head, and sighed. " It's real all right, Billy. I just…can't believe that…after all the times we've spent together…..she would just give it all up."
Katherine sighed, and knelt down to be beside me. She looked me in the eye. " Tommy…I-I'm so sorry. Is there anything we can do to help?" I looked up into her eye's and sighed. A tear ran down my cheek. " I'm sorry You guys, but…I-I need some time alone. I'll see You guys later."
I left the guys in worry as I headed out the door without another word.
