"Korra! wake up!" Tenzin's voice booms into my room.
"Do we have to start airbending sooooo early," I moan into my pillow.
"Yes we do it helps us connect with the spirits," He shares.
With a moan I get out of bed and close the door on him and change into my other clothes and meet with everyone at the table. "Good morning Korra," Jinora, and Ikki say. I flash them a little smile. "GOOD MORNING KORRA!" Meelo shouts from across the table. "Meelo inside voices please!" The very pregnant Pema ask's. After eating I walk outside to the spinning gates.
The kids going through it first, dancing their way in and out of it. I in comparison look unskilled and lack in grace. After I finish my last go at the gates I sprint my way down to the fairie. I am going to hardly make it to practice on time.
"Hey guys, sorry I am late, airbending practice," I say as I burst through the door.
"Hey Korra its fine," Bolin says, "We haven't started any ways."
"Where is Mako?" I ask
"He went to go get dressed. So lets just chill for a little bit," Bo says
He takes a seat on floor and leans his back against one of the window; I take a seat next to him and lean my head on his shoulder.
"He is taking his sweet ass time," I whisper into Bolins ear.
"That he is," He says
"What are you two seating around for?"Mako's voice calls from across the room.
"Well we got tired of waiting, so we sat down," Bolin explains
We all start training, and Mako gets of to a rough start. He isn't dodging Bolins stone plate's like usual, nor my water wips.
"Mako, are you okay?" I ask him
"I am fine!" He yells at me.
"Hey dont be mad at me I was only making sure you were okay!" I yell back at him.
"I don't need people to baby me!" He screams back
"Guys! Calm down lets just take a break go get lunch," Bolin intervenes.
"Okay, Fine. I will see you in an hour, I am going to meet up with Asami," Mako says as he storms into the changing room.
"What is wrong with him!" I shout.
"Well the anniversary of our parents death is coming up soon, three days after the tournament actually," Bolin share's.
"Oh. . . um I . . ." I start but I am at a loss of words, I don't know what to say to him. He looks so sad.
"It's fine but its just kinda rough cause its bittersweet, we made it here but our parents won't be able to see, and its right before their anniversary too," Bolin says
"No I understand now, and I am so sorry Bolin," I say
"Its okay you didn't know, but don't tell Mako I told you he might get mad that you know he has feelings," He joke's
"I won't" I say. I walk up to him and give him a hug. He pulls away and looks me in the eyes and gives me a kiss. It surprises me a little at first, but it is no secret we flirt with each other all the time.
He pulls away "I am sorry I dont. . ." He starts
"No its fine, I like you a lot Bolin, I didn't think that was a secret," I tell him
He gives me a nervous laugh and asks "Then would you like to go on a lunch date with me, my lady?"
I giggle and reply with a yes.
