Nothing Could Compare With You

The first time I looked into your eyes,

I knew that this was true:

If I should die and go to heaven,

Heaven could not compare with you.

When you first touched your hand to mine,

I knew that this was true:

If I had touched the finest silk,

No silk could compare with you.

When you first placed your lips on mine,

I knew that this was true:

If I had tasted the finest chocolate,

No chocolate could compare with you.

I knew that this was true:

If I was handed the world to keep,

The only thing I would want is you.
