Tony smiled as he watched Pepper sleep. They had been parents for three months now and Tony felt like he was really getting the hang of it. Pepper had returned to work for the first week since the baby was born and Tony was trying to let her get as much asleep as possible. He heard his son start to fuss and quickly turned off the monitor before quickly walking to the nursery. He smiled as the little boy opened his eyes and softly whimpered.
"Hey Dylan" Tony said softly "How about we do this without waking up your mom"
Tony smiled as he picked up the little boy and gently held him to his chest. He smiled as the infant placed his head on the arc reactor and settled down in his arms. Tony gently moved walked to the kitchen and heated up bottle before getting comfortable on the couch. He smiled as he fed his little boy.
"You know Dylan you are pretty special. Your beautiful and sweet and your going to be so smart. Just like mommy and just like me. But you know the only thing that really matters is that you try your hardest and stay healthy and grow up and always remember that me and mommy love you very much"
Tony smiled as the little boy finished his bottle and burped. He gently carried him upstairs and sat down to rock him to sleep. Tony sighed as the little boy settled down and Tony put him in bed and watched him sleep for a few moments before going back to the master bedroom. He gently crawled back to Peppers side and smiled as she curled into his arms and laid her hand on the reactor.
"Dylan?" Pepper asked sleepily
"Asleep" Tony replied "I turned the monitor back on. I have him tonight Pep"
"Thank you. Love you Tony"
"Love you too babe"
