A/N: An educational piece for those of you who haven't read the dark elf trilogy yet. Co-written with Lady Fellshot. She writes cool stuff, go read it.

The Dark Elf Trilogy in 30 seconds.

Book One-

Meet Drizzt & Zak. Morals rule. Zak is cool.

Drizzt goes to school. Drizzt confused then mad at Zak.

Drizzt goes to the surface with lots of hope. Hopes crushed, beaten to a pulp and beheaded. Secretly saves surface elf chickie.

Zak and Drizzt fight over morals. Morals win. Score: Zak 1-0. Zak and Drizzt reconciled.

Zak dies. Drizzt depressed.

Drizzt runs away.

Book Two-

Drizzt runs around in the Underdark and mopes.

Zak comes back. Undead.

Drizzt meets the gnomes. Drizzt leaves with Belwar. Drizzt peachy, bordering on chipper.

Zak tells Drizzt to stay away from dark elves and stop being depressed.

People die. Zak goes back to being dead dead. Drizzt depressed.

Drizzt goes to the surface to mope.

Book Three-

Drizzt in dire need of Prozac.

Drizzt encounters a skunk. Drizzt stinky.

Drizzt watches a family. Drizzt bordering on chipper.

Tries to make friends. Does not go well. Drizzt mopes.

Gnolls kill family. Drizzt angry. Kills gnolls. Drizzt peachy for 30 seconds then is again depressed. In dire need of Prozac.

People track Drizzt. Drizzt confused.

Drizzt alternates between being confused and moping.

Drizzt reaches Ten-Towns. Drizzt meets Cattie-Brie. Drizzt comences alternating between peachy and reciting I'm not worthy. Will continue to do so until someone slaps sense into him. Literally and liberally.
