Joy's POV
There was a loud clap of thunder, I jumped, pouring Pepsi all down my top, "Great!" I said, "I now have to wash this off! These are my favourite pyjamas!" I got up and walked to the kitchen, grabbing a wet cloth, I started to rub my top violently. I didn't even notice Jerome come in.
"Hey Joy!" He said, causing me to jump again, this time hitting myself in the face with a damp dishcloth.
"Thanks!" I said sarcastically, "I forgot this!" I turned and smacked him with it.
"Oh, ha ha, very funny!" He picked up the other dishcloth that was in the sink, and slapped me with that. This went on for about half an hour, until we both gave up and threw the cloths back in the sink. We were both soaked,
"I'm gonna go change!" I started to leave,
"Joy, wait!" Jerome grabbed my arm, causing me to turn around, then, he kissed me. I pulled away,
"What was that?" I asked, coughing slightly. "You wear lip gloss?" I wiped my mouth,
"Vaseline, its Vaseline Joy" He said, chuckling.
"You're a pretty good kisser" I said, raising my eyebrows,
"I know..." He pulled me in again, we kissed for a few minutes, then, Mara came in,
"Jerome!" She screamed, Jerome turned, I backed away.
"Mara!" Jerome said,
"You!" Mara pushed passed him, and walked over to me, "You?" She slapped me in the face, hard.
"Mara!" Jerome grabbed her arm, I steadied myself, and touched my lip, which was bleeding.
"You... Her?" Mara said, I touched my lip again,
"Ow." I winced in pain,
"Get over it" Mara walked out.
"You okay?" Jerome came over, and touched my cheek,
"Now I am" we kissed again, "Ow!" We pulled apart,
"Sorry"
"You have a bit of blood on your lip now!" I laughed, wiping it off him.
"Joy" He looked at me with those piercing blue eyes,
"Yeah" I looked straight back at him.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Sure, why not!"
"What?" He looked shocked,
"Joking! Alright, I love you Jerome"
"I love you too Joy"
"Okay, can we go see Trudy now, I think my lip is swelling up"
"Yes, yes we can"
