The World Government that reigned over the five seas is gone, and Dragon now sits upon the Empty Throne. Several factions having formed after the fact, they vie for power over the seas of the world; meanwhile, Blackbeard gains the power of the path-path fruit, an inter-universe teleportation fruit, and ravages the land of Paradise, provoking the wrath of Eren Jaeger.
This is a story of trust and betrayal; of romance and vengeance; of friendship and murder; and of straw hats and devil fruits. An uneasy wind blows through the Grand Line as Eren enters in search of Blackbeard, to the dismay of his friends, who are not far behind; as alliances form and plans are set into motion, the five seas begin to erupt into a clash of titans and pirates, and whispers of the coming war can be heard from any corner of the world.
A Clash of Titans and Pirates - Prologue
The day was a bitter, cold one, with the echoes of death scattered across the land inside the Walls. Clouds darker than the night loomed overhead, and the songs of the wind were sung through the empty plains, rushing, fleeing, escaping - but from what?
The cataclysmic sky peered into every person's soul as if it had only begun its wrath. "No more, no more" they all screamed back, but the bolts of lightning accompanying the devilish songs prevented their words from reaching anyone of importance; the Walls were in a state of decay.
A restless Eren Jaeger stood atop one of these walls, gazing over a certain southern district; a decisive battle was won there not too long ago, and with it, hope was brought to humanity. He had learned the truth of his world, as after the Battle of Shiganshina he finally reached his father's basement, but not without the death of most of the Scout Regiment, namely Commander Erwin.
But this is not what he thought of. That battle rests at the back of his mind now, which flows like a jungle river, saturated with images of the man who destroyed his home, the man who took Historia, the man who left a gaping hole in the wall… Eren did not know who this man was. He did not know where he came from. He did not know why this man ravaged his home and left like he'd never have to face any backlash; all he knew was he had a goal, a new one at that: find this man, and kill him.
And he stood over Shiganshina, away from his friends, going at it alone, as he feels it is his fault that evil man was able to bring chaos to the Walls, and he knew where he must go. He's seen it firsthand. He knows that man is not of his world, as not only did he have powers far beyond the imagination of the people of Paradise, but he had the distinct ability to create a pathway in any spot he wanted; a portal, if you will.
He knew exactly where this portal was, too, and wasted no time reaching it once more; it stood in the heart of his father's basement, to his dismay.
And he entered it, joining a world significantly more chaotic than his, a world where he intends to find one man, and one man only: Marshall D. Teach.
