If things seem a little different, it's because I tweaked the story, this is now Child of Time V2. Enjoy!
Kronos had just received a startling prophecy, his children would rise and overthrow him, ruling the world in the Titans place. He clenched his hand in anger, as it seemed, history is always doomed to repeat itself.
Flashback
Kronos grinned madly, a twisted smile on his face as his fathers body was on the ground, slashed into ribbons, around him stood his brothers and sisters, the Titans. ( as so as they would be called),the various postures high in triumph and victory. It was no easy fight, the old man still had traces of the radiant power that had flown through him in his younger days, but today? Not so much.
It was the effect of staying out of the void for too long, a curse that plagued the primordial race, set upon them by their mother Chaos. If it was not for her, this day possibly may have never came. The armies were endless, but none could withstand the power of the Titans.
A woman with Raven colored hair and brown skin approached Kronos. "Brother, was it worth it?" "The slaying of mortals, the horrid scarring of the land for millennia just to sit at the top of the world?" She asked, clearly not satisfied with the means to an end, hinted by the displeased look on her face, ironic because she was the cruelest of them all.
"Yes it was worth it Rhea dear, father has ruled for generations upon generations, besides Mother wished for me to do it, she knew it was time for a change, that's why she made me this." He said with an excessive amount of venom in his voice, all this while flashing a long golden scythe, crafted with the most intricate designs, born of out the essence of primordial power.
Rhea's eyes softened, tasting the venom in Kronos's voice and cast her gaze to the ground. Kronos raised her chin and they met each other's eyes. Sexual tension was at mountain high level, Kronos with a softened voice stated " I shall take you as my queen and we will remake the world into our image and usher it into a new golden era!" The Titans surrounding him cheered in glory.
"Kronos…" A deathly and raspy voice came the decapitated head on the ground, it clearly wasn't having a good day.
"It speaks!" Kronos yelled, clearly mocking it, the surrounding Titans laughed in mirth. "Kronos, you shall pay for what you and treacherous mother did in blood, I swear it on the River Styx." Kronos lost a few shades of color. When his father swore on the mighty river, nothing would or could ever stop him. " An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, what you have done to me shall be done to you; your blood will overtake and destroy me, just as you all have done." Speaking his final words, he dissolved into an ozone breeze, his essence entering the void.
End Flashback
Since that day Kronos has been on a mental edge of pure insanity, you can imagine the horror he felt when the first child was born,Hestia her name, radiating pure power, but she was different of course, wanting to figure things out peacefully rather than violence, but if she had too, she would.
The 5 to follow were a signs of the prophecy coming true something he honestly wanted. He had been rather bored these few thousand years, a revolution would spice things up quite a bit. Currently he was watching his male children have a battle royale with no weapons only their bare hands; they always wanted his attention and approval. His face darkened, if his father would have done that, maybe he wouldn't have slashed him to pieces, he chuckled to himself remembering the old days.
Currently sitting on his throne, Hera stood to the right of him, she was always a daddy's girl and his favorite, but he never admit that aloud of course. Hestia, the strongest of them all was currently tending to her hearth, she was peaceful unless she had to get right?Meanwhile Demeter was tending to her precious plants. The fight began with Zeus charging toward Hades, the hatred they had for each other was at an insane level, maybe it's because they both have aspects that oppose each other? On the contrary, one was the oldest boy and one was the youngest.
Zeus struck first with a right hook and grazed Hades but the latter was faster, ducking under the blow and countering with a nasty uppercut that sent Zeus crashing to the ground. Zeus stood up, wiping the blood at the corner of his mouth.
His eyes started flashing lightning and Zeus unleashed a flurry of wild punches, to his credit, were pretty fast. But Hades was merely toying with Zeus, dodging or blocking the hits that seemed to be likely to cause the most damage. Hades grabbed Zeus, head butted him and then sent a furious knee into his stomach, sending him crashing to the ground like a bag of bricks, unconscious.
Zeus being seemingly knocked out left Hera visibly shocked and on the verge of tears. Kronos sent Hades a sharp look, he responded by losing a shade of color, who knew pale could get paler?
Remaining were Hades and Poseidon, the latter being bold and daring sent a roundhouse kick to Hades neck, Hades grabbed his leg leg and forced Poseidon to the ground, jumping on top of him, Hades starting wailing on Poseidon's face with punches, each punch made his face get bloodier and bloodier till he caught Hades punch and elbowed him in the nose. Poseidon pushed him off and put both his legs around Hades neck, squeezing till Hades turned blue.
The cycle was going to repeat itself till someone yelled "STOP!" Clearly scaring the both of them. Kronos leaned back in his throne, visibly disappointed, she always ruined the fun.
Rhea walked up to him with a bundle in her arms, "I have geared a new child" her brown eyes glittering in approval. She held out the child for him to see, he was lightly colored with deep black hair, he opened his eyes to reveal two golden orbs just like his. Kronos's heart quivered for a millisecond before it returned to stone. "What will you name him?" Kronos said appearing shaken, something was very different about this one, he was different than the ones before him, even Hestia herself. Kronos and Rhea both made eye contact, they both clearly felt the same way. "Perseus, my little destroyer." He knew there was no use arguing.
