Charizard sighed. It was Hydreigon's birthday again.

Only thing was, it always went wrong at Hydreigon's birthday.

Charizard flew up to the cave, and he widened his eyes at the sight of all the pokemon in the cave were tied to a chair. A trainer strolled in, and Hydregion whipped around and blasted his head off. He turned back at Charizard with an innocent smile. Charizard just stared back at him, exasperated.

"Here." The orange dragon gave Hydreigon a present. For the present, Charizard hurriedly killed a rattata and put it in the box, hoping that was Hydregion's favorite pokemon to eat.

He flew over to the flat rock Hydreigon was floating by. He looked at the cake on the rock. It had Oran berry slices, and lots of icing dancing across the cake. It looked much better than the previous years when Hydregion had tried to make a cake herself. Unfortunately, Hydregion had no hands, or anything to grasp things, so that year they had a bowl of unmixed cake mixture, some mushed up berries, and a bag of icing.

"Where'd you get the icing?" Charizard asked, and the black dragon gestured at a baker, squirming, tears running out of his eyes. Charizard gave him a look of pity, then turned back.

"Aren't you gonna sing me the happy birthday song?" Hydregion inquired.

"Nah, I don't remember how it goes." Charizard snorted, a ring of smoke coming out of his nostrils. He let out a sigh of exasperation as Hydreigon pouted at him. "Just blow out the candles."

Hydreigon smiled, and then took a deep breath. She blew. Well, Mabye she didn't blow. She used hyper beam. Unfortunately for Charizard, he was sitting on the opposite side of Hydregion, and his face took a blow. Hydreigon gave him a innocent smile.

"Wrong jaw muscle." She said. Charizard's eye twitched, and he looked down at the cake. No longer an elegant cake, in front of them was a charred mess. Somehow, a single candle was standing.

"Can this get any worse?" Charizard grumbled, and as if to answer, the single candle that stood lit up, a tiny flame growing on the candle.

"Son of a-"

I was laughing while writing this. Poor Charizard. This fanfiction was based off my two favorite pokemon, Charizard and Hydregion. I hoped you liked it!
