So...While listening to some guys talk at my local Comic Book/Game Shop I came up with this idea...First a story about someone who gets reincarnated into an Animal Via the Wheel of Fate and while initially imagining this character as the protagonist I decided, no she'll be the villain and someone else can be the hero, while initially thinking of creating a brand new character to oppose this villain I decided, to give Kid Vid this nemesis and make this story his redemption after 'The Misadventures of Kid Vid

Once upon a time there was a horrible girl and she died...But that was when the real story happened.

The Girl came to on a cloud surrounded by strange creatures, on a cloud above her a man with a long white beard banging his gavel and yelling "Guilty!"

The Girl gasped "Guilty?! Of what?!"

"Of being a jerk!" Said the Man "You are hereby sentenced to reincarnation as an animal!"

The Animal Goddess Fauna spun the Wheel of Fate and the Girl was sentenced to being reincarnated as an earthworm! The Girl cried as she hauled to the Spoonapult.

In the Mutant Town of Forest Kid Vid the Mutant Mongeral Dog who was once a Human Boy from another dimension was sorrowfully watching Pixel Pup the Mutant Wolf-Who recently discovered she was witch with an affinity for technology- and Kyllie a Mutant Deer who had the ability to transform into a giant monster Deer (Although she hated to actually do that) had both become valedictorian at the Mutant Academy of Martial Arts. As Kid Vid watched the Animal Girls train, Kyllie practicing her kicks with a punching bag, and Pixel with her computer, meditating with it to practice her machine communicating abilities, Kid Vid sighed loudly causing the sharp eared Animal Girls to turn their heads toward him. They had become accustomed to Kid Vid's constant lamentations, how he felt he wasn't special being a common Dog Mutant and wishing he could be something more rare and exotic.

"Girls..." Kid Vid said "...What am I doing here?"

Kyllie said "All young mutants take mandatory martial arts training to master their bodies so they don't hurt humans or each other..."

"No!" Kid Vid barked "I mean...What am I doing in this world as a Mutant, even though it's clear I'm nobody special...Fauna said I had potential, but...What potential?"

Pixel and Kyllie gave each other the side eye

"I mean...Kid Vid rubbed his arm "...Pixel you're a Wolf-Witch who can send hypnotic suggestions through the computer!"

Pixel blushed but also smiled at this

"...And Kyllie you have the ability to turn into Deer-Hulk!"

Kyllie blushed and folded her ears against her skull she hated being compared to the incredible hulk.

"But me..."Sighed Kid Vid "...I'm the Mutant Mutt who became a laughing stock by nearly getting himself killed by the Wranglers, with the real heroes having to drag me out!"

Kyllie and Pixel were about to respond, but then the ground and walls began to shake, Earthquake!

The adolescent Mutants quickly got under tables and covered their necks, this was no ordinary earthquake, it was being caused by the Wicked Girl who had been reincarnated as an Earthworm she did not Mutate because she was a reincarnation like Kid Vid who was actually an unusual case, instead of being placed in an embryo developing in an egg or womb Fauna took Kid Vid's Soul and placed it in the body of an ordinary stray dog causing the Dog to instantly mutate! (In case it wasn't clear Fauna bent a lot of rules for Kid Vid) No the Wicked Girl was born an ordinary worm but that worm was chosen for Mutation by Scientists trying to create a creature that could scout underground.

The Girl-Worm was free and she wanted revenge!

I like the idea that Kid Vid who was the embodiment of Cool in the 90s having to come to realize that being a hero isn't in having a pair of dark sunglasses and being able to skateboard but one's inner qualities
