"Sweetness"
Hi, everyone! I know this is two days later than Valentines Day but… I've been sick. Well, getting sick anyway. The weather in New York sucks frontal monkey tail and has everyone sick in my school… bleah.
So without further adieu, the first Yuka/Miruchi fic ever posted on

"Hey, do you think we should make some candy bags for Chiyo-chan's high school friends too?"
Yuka and Miruchi sat at Miruchi's aunt Minamo's coffee table with red and pink construction paper, several sweet treats, and heart-decorated candy bags in front of them, along with glue, scissors, and glitter.
The Yukari-looking girl frowned at her friend. "Thinks about it Yuka, why would cool high school teenagers want some kiddy cards from two people they don't even know?"
Miruchi's expression saddened, "It's the thought that counts, Yuka-chan… besides, look at these kitty bags! Chiyo-chan said that pretty tall girl liked kitties, you know."
Yuka looked thoughtful. "Well, I guess so. Are we still exchanging this year?"
The blue-eyed girl smiled, "Yeah, I got a great gift for you this year, or at least I hope you think it's great…" she explained, turning her head down to hide the pink plague spreading across her nose.
The dressier of the two smiled dreamily. "Oh, how nice it would be to have a real Valentine this year…" she sighed, her eyes shooting out stars.
Miruchi's face stricken in hurt as she abruptly turned away. "Oh. Sorry my Valentines aren't genuine enough for you."
Yuka shook her head, "No I mean like a person as your Valentine… someone to give you diamond jewelry and bring on trips to Hokkaido with snow crabs and trips to Okinawa with champuru!" She shouted gleefully, her innocence nothing but a cheap artificial coating.
Miruchi sighed. "You are your aunt's niece, Tanizaki-sensei." The miniature athlete grinned as Yuka pouted and stuck her tongue out at her. 'Perfect timing,' Miruchi thought this as Yuka sucked back in her tongue, only to have it sealed there by Miruchi's lips.
The girls pulled away, both struck down by the dreaded Pink-Red Plague of Valentines Day.
Yuka suddenly hugged the bluish-haired girl, her head on Miruchi's chest. "Stupid PE teacher…" she purred, mimicking her aunt's voice.
Miruchi smiled and sighed, shaking her head. "My little mooch."
The two girls giggled and shyly kissed again. Valentines Day would never be the same again.
