Sitting there in the middle of the room, on the white couch. My daughter laying on my lap, me with my head against Edwards shoulder. Wondering what would have happened if I didn't moved to forks, and where would I be now. Probably working days on end trying to save up money for college. I decided to let Edward in on my thoughts. It had become a regular thing, whenever I was too lazy, or too comfortable to speak I would put my hand up to his cheek and force my shield off of me to him. It had become easier every time I tried it. So I put my hand up to his cheek and let him know what I was thinking. "Edward, have you ever thought about where we would be now if I hadn't moved to forks?"

"Honestly, I've never thought about it." he replied. The others in the room looked up. they were unaware that Edward could see inside my mind.

"Me neither, it just popped into my head a second ago. But the one thing I know is I like the way things turned out. I giggled. I never thought that it would go from you ignoring me when I first moved here, to being married, with a daughter. But I sure do love it.

"Everything is perfect the way it turned out" was all he said. Now everyone was staring at us. Probably thinking that Edward was talking to himself since no one was even thinking about anything that had to do with what he was saying.

"Hey Edward," Emmett called " You want to tell us who your talking to since it's obviously none of us." Emmett looked frustrated, I don't know why though, it's usually Edward that gets frustrated when he doesn't know what someone thinking.

Edward leaned down and whispered in my ear. "Should we tell them?" is what he asked

This time I spoke aloud. "Might as well they'll figure out eventually."

"You going to tell us who your talking to or what?" this time Jasper said it.

He sighed. He didn't like giving up our little secret. "I'm talking to Bella." Edward smiled my favorite crooked smile, and I smiled back, then he gave me a kiss on my forehead. From then our eyes were locked on each other. Until Rosalie interrupted.

"Edward what are you talking about, we all know you can't read Bella's mind." she was shocked. I didn't know why everyone was taking it so seriously but they were.

"Actually, I can. If Bella concentrates and pushes her shield away from herself and over to me, I can hear what she's thinking." he told her, but it was loud enough for everyone else to hear too.

"Wow, Bella's more intelligent than we thought! Even with all that 'tutoring' she getting, to be ready for Dartmouth." I glared at Emmett as he said that.

"I told you she was an amazing creature." Edward said ignoring the last part of Emmett's comment. Edward pulled my chin up and kissed me lightly, and as always my head was spinning when he let go.
