This is my thoughts of the scene of ESB when Vader stops Boba Fett from shooting at Chewbacca, just one shot…

Gratitude

After the battle of Yavin…

Darth Vader paced around the bridge on the Executor

Admiral Piett approaches nervously and handles him a datacard.

"My lord, we have received some of the information you requested."

Vader picks up the data.

"Some?."

"Yes, milord, this is in regards to the identity of the pilot who shot you, sir."

"I want the name of the pilot who destroyed the death star!" he groaned.

"We will find him my lord."

"It will be better, for your own sake."

Vader picks up the data card and walks towards his chambers.

At Yavin IV, former imperial Commander Han Solo, now Captain of

The YT-1300 Corellian Freighter Millennium Falcon.

The information came with a holo picture of Solo. The picture still showed him wearing the imperial uniform, excellent record until after his discharge reporting his association with Jabba the Hutt as a smuggler along a Wookie.

/You will suffer a slow and painful death, I could have stopped that pilot from blowing the Death Star if wasn't for you/ Vader spoke with hatred.

Shortly after, Piett arrives nervously with a datapad on his hands.

"My lord, here is the information on the destroyer of the death star."

Vader picks up the data.

/This one will beg for death when I get a hold of him/ His hatred was powerful.

The Holo picture…

Vader watches the picture…It looked like he went back on time…

The message cames:

Rebel identified as Commander Luke Skywalker…

Skywalker/ Vader's respirator was fast with the jolt of adrenaline.

/another force user Skywalker…it had to be…my son/

/I could've killed him! My son and Padme's…if the freighter pilot had not stopped me! I would have killed my son/

Bespin…

Carbonite chamber…

Han Solo is led by stormtroppers…Chewbacca attacks…

Boba Fett aims his blaster…

Vader stops him from shooting. At that moment Vader thought that he could not allow the bounty hunter to shoot, he could hit Han Solo, after all he saved him from killing his son, just for this he deserved to live…
