The Dawning Of Dooms Day!

Work had been normal, if you could count anomalies opening up 24/7 and me and my team having to save the world from prehistoric creatures everyday then yes, life couldn't get any saner than that for me. But just lately anomalies were hardly appearing and for the past few weeks none had turned up at all, most people would find that normal but not me, I find it very unusual! It's impossible, or so I thought, for the past four years I've been working here in the ARC trying to figure out how time ripples, time loops/portals and anomalies have been affecting the Earth's barrier, in English that means that messing with time can cause this barrier to crack unleashing havoc and chaos to the world. Once the barrier is down the Earth loses its defensive mechanisms and if affected by such an incident as messing with time can cause the world to turn into a black hole and destroy everything that's in its path including itself! That's what's happening now, the Earth is losing its defence barrier which is causing the anomalies to appear and if you think that that's bad then think again because what's the point in saving the Earth from the anomalies if the Earth is going to turn into a black hole? Well I'll tell you, if we can get rid of the anomalies for good and close them up then as a result we end up fixing the barrier, the question is how? That's what I'm here to find out!
*Beep beep beep* "We have an anomaly," Connor shouted. I sprang up from my chair and ran over to the anomaly detector. I studied the screen for the anomaly. "It appears that the anomaly is right…here?" A face of puzzled expressions flooded the building as all eyes were on me giving me the expression of 'are you joking'. "Hey you lot I'm not joking, come have a look for yourselves,"
"She's right, Connor said, backing me up .Everyone started running over to the computer and their expressions became gasps of disbelief.
"Well where is it then?" Becca asked raising his gun up and surveying the scene.
"I don't know," I replied raising my hand to my forehead and letting out a sigh.
A loud crackling sound erupted around us and we all jumped, startled by the sudden thundering sound surrounding us. Great waves of sounds were swirling around us, I started to smell burning, burning that was about to make me throw up if it wasn't for the fact that I was completely distracted by the sounds. I think the anomaly's opening right here in front of us, I'd never seen an anomaly open before, only close and to be honest I'm glad I'd never seen it before because if these sounds go on any longer I'm going to be deaf before I'm even thirty!!!
Bright lights began flashing like thunder as the anomaly began taking shape. Orange and yellow like spikes appeared, the anomaly was contracting as if ready to spit out something, and then it did. Three dark figures stepped gracefully out of the anomaly, we all stared full of curiosity, they were so pale with dark black hair; red eyes that looked like they were blood shot; blackish red lips and very tall and skinny, they honestly looked very dangerous and scary!
"Who are you and what do you want?" I asked, doing my best to look stern and shout loudly but I'm sure my voice came out in a squeak. Damn!
The tallest one in the middle gave me an evil vindictive smile, "We are vampires and are here to bring the end of the world!!!"
