I remember the
sky
It's shades of
pink, and blue, and red
How I grieve its
loss
I long to see
it again
Here there are
but stars
There are no trees
to light me here
The Sun and Moon
are but fables
And I long to
see colored skies again
Low, the piper
plays his tune
Lament to the
skies that he lost too
How sick I am
of starlight laughter
Why does it keep
the sky from me?
Yet on the horizon,
I see a shimmer
Color sent to
tease me cruelly
I do not see that
black there now
I swear I see
a hint...of blue
