DISCLAIMER: I do not own Short Circuit. Several viewers have probably imagined the plot of this story, but since I wrote it first…it's mine.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: Man, what's with the total absence of Short Circuit fanfic out there? I've looked and looked, but have never been able to find any! So now, it is my pleasure to post for probably the first time anywhere and definitely the first time on FF.Net, a Short Circuit fanfiction! This doesn't really have much to do with Number 5. It has more to do with Newton and Stephanie. But Number 5's in here. I know that in most states there has to be two witnesses for a wedding, but I kind of bent the rules a little for this fic. Anyway, it could be different in Montana. Let's just count Number 5 as one and the minister as another. And even though everyone knows this, but the kissing line is from Short Circuit. I did not make it up. I don't want to go to jail for plagiarism.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER
I smile as she walks down the "aisle" towards me. She looks so beautiful. She wears a simple white, flowing dress. No veil, just flowers around her head. She carries a bouquet of daisies. Flathead Lake stretches out behind her. The most beautiful church in the world could not have compared to this setting. Five-or should I say, Johnny-stands watching us. He looks inquisitive, like he always does. The minister looks a little put off by the big talking robot, and I can barely keep myself from laughing.
Stephanie finishes walking and stands to my right. She hands her flowers to Johnny and he takes them.
"Do we have the rings?" The minister asks.
"Right here!" Johnny rolls up and shows the minister two rings on his metal finger.
I guess that's the last straw for the poor man. He takes the rings from Johnny's finger. "All right, let's make this quick." He says. Stephanie bites her lip to avoid laughing. "Do you, Newton, take Stephanie to be your wife?"
"I do." I say.
"Good." The minister says. "Now put the ring on her finger and say 'with this ring I thee wed.'"
"With this ring I thee wed." I say, sliding the gold band onto Stephanie's finger. As I do so, her diamond ring catches the sunlight and sends pink, blue, and green rays all over the place.
"And do you, Stephanie, take Newton to be your husband?"
Stephanie smiles at me. "I do." She says quietly.
The minister hands her the ring. "Now do the same thing he did to you."
"With this ring I thee wed." Stephanie says, sliding the ring onto my finger.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife." The minister says. "Newton, you may kiss your bride."
I grin at Stephanie and kiss her. She throws her arms around my neck and kisses me back.
"Hey!" Johnny rolls up to us. "Where's mine?"
Stephanie breaks away from me and gave Johnny a quick kiss. "Ooh, right on the sensor!" Johnny says.
That must have driven the minister over the edge, because when Stephanie and I turn around, he's gone. And it's not like you can get out of sight quickly on Flathead Lake.
"Smile!" Johnny says, rolling over and holding a camera up.
"Wait!" Stephanie turns around so the lake is behind us. "OK, now we're ready!"
"Okey-dokey!" Johnny snaps the picture. "And we all lived happily ever after!"
I laugh and put my arm around Stephanie. Me, my wife, and my robot would all live happily ever after.
