A/N: I am back in the game! :D I got this crazy idea at a birthday party for one of my best friends - a rather long story as to why - and so I decided to write it down. I, of course, did that when we where all sort of quiet. Wouldn't want to be disrespectful to anyone.

Oh well. If anyone likes this and want me to, I will make it a longer story. :3 I have the ideas and all that, but I really didn't want to take on any big load without a want for it.

Disclaimer: The wonderful universe of Harry Potter belong to the darling J. K. Rowling, I am just lucky enough to get to play with her characters. Blair, daughter of the enemy, is mine.

Have I Ever?

So many things went through his head all the time. What with Sirius in hiding, Umbridge at school, Dumbledore's Army meetings, Legilimens sessions with Snape and Voldemort on the loose. All the time Harry Potter felt like his head was about to explode.

And now this?

An unpredictable attraction for the enemy's daughter? Harry just couldn't take it. Sure, Blair had showed to be very sweet and helpful – plus a very precious member of the DA – but there had to be some kind of rule that forbade such things. It was all very confusing to Harry, and it did nothing for his concentration in those private sessions with professor Snape.

But Harry just couldn't help himself. You don't choose who you fall in love with, right? Just like you can't choose who you're related to. And it wasn't Blair's fault that her father happened to be the worst git to ever walk this earth.

And to make matters worse – as if being in love with her wasn't enough – Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley, decided to blame Blair for leaking information about the secret meetings held in the Room of Requirements to Umbridge. And that had led to one less member in DA, which further led to Harry being ignored by Blair, so he really just have Ron a hard time these days. Hermione wouldn't speak to him at all either, but that might have to do with something else entirely.

Harry didn't know what to do anymore.

It was a well week after the bloody unfair accusation that Harry sat in the Great Hall and ate his dinner, left to his own thoughts, when a girl with curly, dark-brown hair he knew all too well sat down beside him and began talking as if nothing had gone wrong between them. Harry gave her a big smile and listened to her, mostly, one-sided conversation.

"I have been wondering lately. Have you ever…felt something for someone that just seemed so wrong but made so much sense, but you're still too afraid to tell that person about those feelings?" Blair turned to Harry with a serious look on her face. Harry was stunned. If she came over here to talk about her feelings for some bloke, then Harry would actually rather prefer the silent treatment. But apparently Blair wasn't finished talking. "It's just that, I used to be really great friends with this guy, and I've sort of started developing feelings for him, besides platonic ones. But, and here comes the big problem, his best friend has some kind of issue with me. Have you ever felt like that, Harry?" As she sat there beside him bit her lower lip and looked at him with her big, grey eyes, Harry began to put all the pieces together.

"Have I ever?" Harry smiled. He took Blair's hand that lay on the table and gave it a light squeeze. After all, Umbridge would fry them both if they did anything whilst in her sight, even if it was just a peck on the lips.

Blair smiled back sweetly and turned back around to finish her dinner, still held on to Harry's hand and began mindless talking again. It was as if nothing happened, except maybe an upgrade in their relationship status.

And that was exactly why Harry loved his Blair so much…
