Chapter One:

It was a rainy, stormy night in the dark city of Gotham. Selina Kyle was running down the street to catch a cab to get to Bruce Wayne. She was beginning to bleed out of her uterus. Her baby girl was coming! She began thinking to herself, "How am I going to be a mother when I can't take care of myself?" She felt as if her whole body was panicking. Her baby was on the way and she knew that there wasn't enough time to get to Wayne Mansion, so she quickly decided to go to the Maternity Clinic that was located right next to the Gotham City Hospital. She walked inside and all of sudden everyone was looking at her, bleeding from head to toe. When all of a sudden she collapsed. She had blacked out!

When Selena woke up she was in a hospital bed and right next to her was a glass chamber with a baby inside. She thought to herself, "Can this child be mine?" A nurse came in and looked at her wondering why Selina wasn't happy. Selina wasn't happy for any second from the past nine months of her life. She manages to mess up a one night stand with the richest man in Gotham and she gets pregnant. She turned to look at the nurse and asked, "Nurse, what happened?"

The nurse replied, "Ms. Kyle, you gave birth to a baby girl!"

Selina looked at her like she doesn't give a sh*t, "Oh! When can I leave?"

The nurse looked puzzled. "Don't you want to hold her? She is the heaviest sleeper here in the whole hospital."

Selina replied. "Ok. Why not?"

Selina began to hold her...she began to feel this feeling in her stomach. Perhaps it was the feeling that she finally could have a family of her own. She started to cry, the tears were coming down harder than she intended them to. The nurse said, "It's ok to cry Selina, every mother experiences this. Part of it are the hormones-"

Before the nurse could finish her sentence Selina interrupted, "I'm not crying because of that. I'm crying because I can't take care of a child, especially a girl. I cannot let her turn out like me-A WORTHLESS AND HELPLESS WOMAN! I need to take her to her father!"

Nurse looked as if she was about to cry, "Well, who is the father?"

Selina took a while to respond. When she felt that she was ready to speak she said, "That I cannot tell!"
