The way she loved him seemed to have still been there. Even though he left her for bigger and better things. Things she wished had never come up. Every second makes her weaker, makes her wish he was still there but in ways, he was, even though it never ever seemed that way.
She rubbed her stomach and looked to the sky, hoping he was looking at the same sky, thinking of her like she was thinking of him.
"She'll be Here in a matter of days. And she'll be born into the world without a father. Like I was. You said you'd never let that happen if we had a child. You lied but i still love you, I always have." She whispered to the sky. Thinking, hoping, loving the thought that he might hear her.
He never thought about it, missing her that is. Her smile, her eyes the way she told him she loved him with each second. Sometimes he missed her more then he could even bare. But that was the passion stirring deep within his soul. He had given it all up, given it all up for college and his newly found acting career. He had been more stupid then ever before, he lost her he left her. to raise a child on her own, her very own, when he promised. He promised her.
Days went by and she was getting more pain and water broke out and splattered at her feet. She gasped and screamed, they brought her to the hospital and she was in even more pain then she had been, only now physically. She screamed when they told her to breath in deep. "I'll be tere to hold your hand threw the pain. I'll stay even when they tell me to leave"
The hospital was dim and she hated the smell. Hated the look of depression.
"Give me room! Lemme threw!" A voice shouted, tearing threw the crowd like a mad man. She gasped, trying to convince herself it was just a figment of her imagination, but if that was true he wouldn't have looked so different.
"OH!" she cried, he took her hand and she squeezed it with all the hurt and pain he left her with. "Your here! y-your really here!" She cried. Tears came down and blurred everything that was visable to her eye.
"Baby, of course I am" He cooed to her, smoothing her hair back. The doctor whispered to the nurse and she was slipping slowly. Her grip losened on his hand and he began to shout at the doctors to do something but there was no time. She had known the pregnancy would kill her but it hurt to speak or think.
"D-D-Derek..." She stuttered, looking him weakly in the eye. "Der-ek" She said smiling.
"Casey no! no! " He was always above crying but now his tears were visable in his soft brown eyes. "I cant lose you" He turned to the doctor and gave him a hard look. " save her! SAVE HER!" He cried, paniced, losing his mind. " I didnt come to watch her die! SAVE HER YOU IDIOTS!" He screamed but casey was slipping further.
"Derek...I Love you...So much" Casey whispered, brushing her thumb over his hand. "I lo-" She never finished her sentence because all at once the baby came out, a moniter Broke everything down with a loud beep. It showed another lost in the hospital walls.
"CASEY! NO NO NO!" Derek freaked and gripped her hand. "Casey..."
It was all to late, she was gone and Derek was only left with their baby girl. So she was wrong, Casey was wrong. The girl wouldnt grow up without a dad, no but without a mother.
