Sincere dreams.

Well, this is new ground for me, as I will write some poetry in this here ditty. It is my first time in five…no, seven-ish years (yes, it is the truth) in writing like this, so I hope I don't disappoint. I decided to spruce it up a bit too, rather then just write the poems. You'll see how I mean if you read. For the record, the writing in bold are the (two) poems if you just wanna read them, and the second is better then the first in my opinion. Enjoy!

Navi rose from her small rosewood bed, to see Link sitting on his own, wide awake. He had been like that for a couple of hours before hand, but the scratching of pencil-on-paper had irritated her so much, she took action.

"What are you doing, Link? Its early morning…" she spoke, a little annoyed. Link merely glanced at her, then to the ceiling in a thoughtful move. The piece of paper was now left unguarded.

Seizing this initiative, she flew up and grabbed it, as Link gasped at the thought. Seeing his cheeks turn a dark tint of crimson, Navi began to read the paper.

Zealous for other's safety,
Evasive and intelligent,
Legendary is her wisdom,
Daring and alluring,
All of such I love her for.

"Oh, an acrostic, eh? For Zelda?" Navi spoke, seeing Link turn his head to the right. "Don't worry, I won't say a word."

Hearing this, Link turned to face her, a slight smile returning to him. Navi then winked at him.

"I'm more surprised that you thought of a phrase for Z!" She spoke, as Link's smile became stronger. Looking down the paper, Navi noticed another, larger, poem.

I see you as I ponder,
Under the midnight skies,

Your grace is everlasting,
With beauty that defies.

You slowly pass me by,
Without a moments thought,
Are you that preoccupied,
Although I feel distraught?

My feelings for you grow stronger,
They are almost at their prime,
Though I cannot stand to witness,
You commit this type of crime.

What crime is it, pray thee tell,
Ignorance, the worst of all,
For some it may equal bliss,
Though feelings for me show gall.

So as the bell tolls for us,
I will ask for nothing more,
Just to hold your gentle hand,
This wanting I cannot ignore.

"…Wow," she whispered under her breath, as Link sat, silent. She placed the piece of paper onto his bed, just as it was, before flying back down to her small bed. She thought for a second, before her eyes shut under her tiredness.

"I wish he'd write something like that for me…"

Ooooh, the plot thickens! Could there be more to the couple then mere companionship? I certainly think so, but that's it for now. I hope it wasn't too bad, but thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
