All Rick could do was stare.

There she was, all in one piece, bustling around the garage laboratory, straightening things as though nothing was wrong. Blond hair was streaked with white, and glasses perched on the bridge of her nose, but it was her.

Morty's hand wrapped around his grandfather's slender arm, and Rick shook himself out of his daze and glanced down at him. "Huh?"

"Are we going to go?" They had retrieved what they had needed from Earth Dimension F-196, but Rick was not ready to leave.

He shook himself out of his daze, and reminded himself that that wasn't his Diane, and that his Diane was dead. "Uh, yeah." A portal was opened, and both him and his grandson stepped through, away from what could have been, and back into the hell that was his reality.
