Santa's helper's
''Step right up to meet Santa,''announced Sam who had dressed up as an elf.''I can't believe I agreed to this plan of yours,''grumbled Dean who had dressed as Santa to help distribute gifts to kids for Christmas.''Come on Dean,its christmas'',said Sam cheerfully.''Yeah,whatever'',mumbled Dean.
Sam let through a little girl who was very pleased to have reached the front of the line to meet Santa.''Hi Santa,I'm Emily'',she said cheerfully.''Dean took her on his lap and said,''so what would you like from Santa today'',asked Dean.''Well,I want a pony,a doll house,a horsey,''and she went on with her list till Sam finally said,''okay,thats all now,Santa needs to listen to others too'' and then Emily left.Dean sighed with relief.
''Thanks Sam'',he said.More and more kids came and asked for what they wanted from Santa.Finally,one girl was left and Dean couldn't wait to get it over with but he and Sam were in for a surprise.''Hi,sweetie,whats your name?'',asked Sam.''I'm Tessa and I promise I won't take very long with my wishlist'',she said.Hearing this Dean felt touched.Tessa said,''my mommy is really sick,and she is in Parkersville Hospital and my brother,Jake is trying to help out by paying the bills,but he can't,so please Santa,can you make my mommy better and help my brother pay off the medical bills?After hearing this,Dean's heart went out to Tessa and he realized that from all the kids who came today,Tessa's wishlist was not like others.''Sure sweetie,Santa will help you,promise'',said Dean.Tessa smiled and gave a hug to Dean who by now was determined to help out Tessa in whatever way he and Sam could.''Dean,we should do something for her'',said Sam saying exactly what was going through Dean's mind.
''Yeah,Sam we should'',he said.''So,what are we gonna do'',asked Sam.After a few minutes Dean got an idea.''Well,we will have a fundraiser and the money will be used for the medical bills'',he said.Well,its a good idea,but what type of fundraiser should we have?,asked Sam.We will have a cookie sale,said Dean.But,where will we get the cookies from?asked Sam.You'll see,said Dean and after making a few calls Dean had finally got hold of an old friend named Bruce who was ready to give the cookies for the fundraiser.
The next day.
''Cookies sale,fundraiser,come support the cause,''read the banner that Sam had made.People started to come in large numbers to help out and by the end of the day Dean and Sam had raised enough money to help Tessa and her family to pay off the medical bills.Once Dean and Sam had finished packing up to leave for the hospital where Tessa's mother was,they checked the map for directions and once there, they looked in every room for Tessa and finally after what seemed like hours,Dean and Sam found the room and went in to give them the money raised.
''Excuse me,but may I know who you two are?''asked a young boy about 16 years of age who must have been Jake,Tessa's older brother.''We are Santa's helpers and your sister had come to the mall to ask Santa to help her mother get well,said Sam.We decided to help out,said Dean.At first,Jake looked suspicious but then Tessa said,''Jake,that is Santa's helper,''she said pointing to Sam.By now,Jake knew that Dean and Sam had been telling the truth.''We would like you to have this'',said Dean giving Jake the money they raised.''Thank you,thank you so much,but how?,he asked.''Don't worry its all taken care of'',said Dean.Tessa came up with tears in her eyes and said,''thank you''.Dean and Sam smiled and then left.''Well,that was nice'',said Sam.''You know Sam,you are right,this Santa volunteering actually was worth it'',said Dean.''Merry christmas,little brother'',said Dean.''Merry Christmas to you too Dean'',said Sam.
