Chapter 1
There's a girl named Patience Patricia Cruise. Patience lives in a 6 room apartment, just out side of New York City, NY. Patience was almost like every other teenager in the world, with a mom and dad, and an older brother and two older sisters. She is 15 years old and is in the 10th grade. But Patience has a secret, a really big secret that no one knows except her mom and dad. Her big secret is that….dunt dunt dunt….she's a witchligher. She can freeze time, move objects, orb, and she can heal and sense. But guess what, she doesn't know that yet. Until one day her parents sat her down to have a talk.
"Hay mom, can I go to the mall with Claire and Tracey?" Patience said.
"Not tonight sweetheart. Your father and I need to have a talk with you tonight. Maybe another night you can go," Her mom said to her.
"But mom we already had "The Talk," said Patience said moaning.
"Not that talk. We need to tell you something important okay. Now go call Claire and tell her you can't go. Now scoot," Her mom said scooting her from the living room. Patience walked into the kitchen and picked up the phone to call Claire,
"Hay Claire, its Patience. I'm sorry but I going to have to cancel with you tonight. The parental's wanted to have a talk with me tonight. I know I can't believe it either," Patience said.
"Patience honey, hurry up. Your father and I want to start now," Her mom said yelling from the living room.
"Got to go Claire. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye," Patience said hanging up the phone. Then she walked into the living room where her parents were sitting on the couch. She sat down on the opposite couch. "So what did you guys want to discuss with me?"
"Patience me and your father want you to know that we love you no matter what happens," Her mom said.
"Mom what are you talking about?" Patience said looking at her mom and dad all confused.
"Well what your mother is trying to say is that," said her dad looking away, "your adopted, sweetie."
"What do you mean I'm adopted and why are you telling me now?" she said on the verge of crying.
"Honey, your real parents names are Piper and Leo. They wanted us to tell you when you were old enough to understand. You were given up for adoption for your own protection because you're a very powerful witch. And they want you to go live with them in San Francisco so you can learn about your powers and so they can teach you," Her dad said.
"You guys aren't serious are you," Patience said staring at her parents like they were aliens.
"Sweetie were telling you the truth," Her mom said.
"Fine I'll go live with them but I'm not going to promise that I'll be nice to them and love them. Not as much as I love you guys," Patience said crying and got up to hug her parents.
"We love you to sweetheart," Her father said to her.
"Don't ever forget, you always have a home with us. You got that," Her mom said.
"Got it mom," Patience said clinging onto her mom as if her life depended on it. That night her and her parents stayed up talking into all hours of the night about her real parents.
