A/N: ok so since its America's birthday I decided to write a not so small drabble for him it took me forever to come up with an idea but here it is, in all it's not so great glory.
Yes I know he's a bit ooc but think of it he's thinking back on all the wars that happened so to me he's not really ooc
And I know I didn't mention all the wars just the bigger ones

America smiled as he watched the fireworks shoot off into the sky and explode into many different colors. They seemed to light up the whole world with the lights. He listened to the children all around him; he remembered when he was that young. Back then England had still been taking care of him.
He thought back to when he declared independence. He could have never thought any of this would happen but yet it did.
First the revolutionary war, then the civil war. He still had a scar through his belly from that. Later on the First World War, Second World War. Then the cold war era which included both the Korean and Vietnam War.
He had also had the Great depression. Even now it makes him sad thinking about all the people homeless back then.
He sighed now thinking about it all was getting him depressed. So he focused his attention on the fireworks cheering him up a bit.
As soon as he got home he took out his cell phone (a smart phone what else!). And he dialed the familiar number.
The phone rang several times before an angry British voice came through the speakers.
"America what do you want!" He said clearly annoyed.
"Well I was thinking today iggy and I realized that I must now know how you fee,l" he said taking a short pause. "…I feel really old now" There was a pause on the end of the phone.
"Ha-ha! A taste of your own medic- Wait! Did you just imply that I'm old! You insufferable git! Why-" but before he could finish a click signaled that the call had ended.
"I wonder how long it will take him to realize I hung up on him?"
A/N: Hope you like though you probably won't but oh well!
By the way true story but my friend actually hung up on my other friend while she was ranting and it took her ten minutes to call her back sad part is though we didn't really get to tease her about it because she lives in another state.
