Harry woke in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and shaking. This was the third night in a row he'd done this, and it was his third night back at Hogwarts since the beginning of second semester. He'd had a lot on his mind since his return including Draco Malfoy.

Draco wasn't returning to Hogwarts this semester due to 'family problems' but Harry could see right through that. Harry knew exactly why he was gone. Voldemort was coming back and he needed all the support he could get.

No one seemed to be talking about it though, which concerned Harry. People were always talking about Voldemort. For once, Harry tried to make himself believe that everything might just be okay.

He tossed and turned the entire night, not getting even an ounce of sleep. Sadly, tomorrow was the first day of classes and in the past three days, he'd gotten about six hours of sleep total. He'd even woke a few of the other guys in the boy's dorm quite a few times as well.

"Go to sleep Harry!" someone grunted. "Sorry," he replied, pulling the blanket up over his head.

The next morning, Harry pulled on his school robes and rushed towards his first class – Divination. Ron and Hermione would just meet him there. He was nearly late and reached the classroom right on time. He found his two friends sitting at a table near the back with an extra chair.

Harry slid into the seat and Hermione pressed her lips into a thin line. He knew she was worried about him but he tried not to acknowledge it. "I know," he'd simply reply.

There were permanent dark circles under his eyes, his eyes were bloodshot, and he was extremely pale. "I'm just worried about you," she'd respond back. Ron kept his mouth shut and it was probably for the best.

Ron never approved of Harry keeping things to himself. He kept insisting that Harry go speak to Dumbledore about his recent sleeping habits. Even Hermione suggested it as well but Harry was determined to fix everything on his own this time.

He didn't need other people fixing his problems for him. If only he knew what his problem really was…

Class dragged on and Harry could barely keep his eyes open. Every time he tried to fall asleep, Hermione would snap her fingers right in front of his face to keep him awake. "What was that for?" he mumbled.

"You're going to get in trouble. You can't miss your first day of classes, Harry." She said. He nodded and slumped over in his chair, trying to get comfortable. "Don't get too comfortable Potter." The professor said, eyeing him down.

"See?" Hermione whispered. He shrugged and zoned out for the rest of the class. He told himself that if he couldn't sleep tonight, he would go to Dumbledore in the morning. If only he could get his mind off things…
