Bumblebee glared at the laughing bots sitting all around him. With a huff he turned and stomped out of the room.

"Sometimes I just can't stand them!" He growled to himself as he continued to rush down the hallway. He didn't have any particular destination in mind he just had to get away from them.

"Just because I'm…and their…Arrgghh!!" He turned and kicked the wall.

"You know," An amused voice spoke from behind him, "If you keep talking to yourself, I might be forced to check your circuitry. Just to make sure you're not loosing it."

"Ratchet!" Bumblebee shouted as he swerved quickly catching the doctor's eyes with his own, "I…um."

Ratchet just smiled and motioned for Bumblebee to enter his medical bay. Bumblebee did so without any fuss. Upon entering, he took the time to look around; he'd never had the chance to before. What with, him being injured, fixed, and then shooed out every time before this one. Looking around now though he found that it wasn't nearly as foreboding as he thought it would be.

"Take a seat," Ratchet said, waving his hand in the direction of one of the steel operating tables that were placed about the room.

"I...I'm okay, really Ratch-" The words died in his throat when he saw the look Ratchet was giving him. Instead, Bumblebee sat down immediately. No wonder even Prime listened to the CMO, sometimes he was down right scary.

Bumblebee sat there quietly as Ratchet pulled up a chair and sat down in front of him. Because of the height of the table, both Bumblebee's and Ratchet's eyes were level. This made Bumblebee feel that they were at least on some sort of common ground. Err...well, sort of.

"Now then," Ratchet started, "why don't you tell the doctor all about it."

Bumblebee couldn't help it, he busted out laughing. Once he calmed himself he looked somber…like he was thinking.

"Seriously," Ratchet smiled at him, "What's the matter Bumblebee?"

"You're going to laugh at me too. They all do when I ask them to stop. But they just laugh again and ignore anything I had said."

"Bumblebee, I promise you I won't laugh." Bumblebee looked skeptical at first but when Ratchet didn't back down he finally relented.

"They…keep making short jokes." If he could blush, he would have been bright red.

"Short jokes," and at Bumblebee's nod Ratchet snorted. That is so like them, he thought. "Well, I can't help you much with that." Bumblebee's eyes dimmed.

"But, I can tell you to try and ignore them. If they see that you don't care then they might stop." Ratchet tried. When Bumblebee didn't look any more reassured than before Ratchet sighed. He sat there for a minute before he chuckled and a smirk overtook his face. Bumblebee had the right to look nervous.

"Ratchet?" He questioned.

"I've got an idea." He chuckled again.

Let's just say that not one more short joke was made about our favorite little bot.
