She sat in the hard-uncomfortable chair waiting. She ran a hand through her hair trying to calm her nervousness. She looked at her phone and saw that she had a text from her mother asking for an update. She replied to it letting her know that they were still waiting.

She looked across from her at the man who had driven them both there. She hadn't been able to leave the arena till after the show was over. How she got through the show without breaking down she didn't know. She had almost begged to leave but they said no. The show had to continue.

The man next to her was staring down at two different belts. One of the titles had been handed to her by an official and she had left it on the table not wanting to think about it for the rest of the show. She had gladly handed the title over to the man who had pushed for the reunion among his two friends more than anyone. He had stayed out of it not wanting to push it, knowing that they had to work this out between them and it was no one else's decision.

"I don't want to be here," she finally said.

The other man nodded knowing what she meant.

"You should be out celebrating. We all should be out celebrating," she amended. "Not waiting for someone to come out and tell us what is going on."

"He texted me," the man said.

"He had the nerve to text you? What did he say?"

"He wanted to know if I knew what happened to the belt." The man snorted. "Like it was his."

"I wonder if he washed the blood off of his," she said glaring at the nurse's station where the nurses were all ignoring them. "When are they going to say something? They brought him here two hours ago!"

"They said they have to run a CT scan," he reminded her. "Possible skull fracture." He reminded her as he put the Universal title and the tag title down on the chair. "They'll let us know when they hear something."

She got up and walked towards the nurse's station but they had no update. They wouldn't even let her in to see him. She walked back to her chair and sat down with her head in her hands as she thought back on what happened.

The ref made the three count as Dean Ambrose had pinned Sheamus. The match had a few hiccups but for the most part Dean and Seth had been on the same page. Seth had hit Sheamus with a flying knee from the top rope before Dean had hit Dirty Deeds.

The ref handed them each a belt before raising their hands. They hugged and did the Shield fist bump. Dean turned around and went to stand on the middle turnbuckle with the title raised high. The fans cheered as Seth did the same from another turnbuckle. New York was known for their tough crowds, but the fans were enjoying this.

They both got down. One of them turned to leave the ring. He never saw it coming until the belt connected hard with the back of his head. his own title fell from his fingers onto the outside of the ring. His own tag partner was on top of him beating the crap out of him with the belt until officials, Kurt Angle, and some of the backstage talent came out to pull him off. Angle threatened to suspend him if he didn't back off. He walked out of the ring with the title and the fans booing.

The other partner was carried out of the arena on a stretcher.

"Mrs. Good?" A voice asked breaking Renee out of her thoughts. "You can see your husband now. The doctors are still waiting for results."

Notes: I hate starting new fics but I swear I hate my muses more sometimes. I've been playing with this fic idea. Almost thinking of adding a flashback of a chapter of a story I started where I had Dean and Seth go to couple's therapy before Summer Slam. I watched that segment Monday and thought they needed a marriage counselor.
