Disclaimer: I do not own the Hunger Games or any of its wonderful characters!

This is a short poem of how i wish Katniss had felt about Peeta before The Quarter Quell. The scene takes place on the day of the interviews when Katniss and Peeta don`t have to be training, on the roof of the training centre. I know this isn`t the best poem, but I`d like to share it. Reviews and critiques are greatly appricated!

If I could lie hear forever

I'd lie forever in your arms

My safety net of comfort

Where you're using all your charms

.

As the sun is beginning to set

In the evening sky

I try hard to figure out

How to say goodbye

.

To my loving support when times get tough

A crutch to hold me when I'm weak

You'll forever be my love dear Peeta

The only one I seek

.

But now because the games will start

I'm sorry to say this must be our end

As I try to find a way to part

You say: we`ll get through this again

.

This gives me the courage to continue on

Even with the fear of losing you

I know i will be able to get through

Because you wouldn`t have said it if it wasn`t true
