"A Little Help From The Rain''
Beast Boy walked up the steps and on to the roof of the tower. He walked over to the edge and looked over the city. The city's lights illuminated the night.
He listened and heard footsteps coming up the stairs. He waited and then the door opened. Beast Boy turned around and saw Jinx standing behind him. She was holding a bag of chips and a pop. She smiled. He stared at her for a moment and then looked back out over the city.
"Good evening , Beast Boy ,'' she said.
"Hm ,'' Beast Boy replied.
"How are you this evening ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"I don't know ,'' he stated , "I'm alive.''
"What's wrong ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"I'm just thinking about things ,'' Beast Boy replied.
"What things ? ,'' she asked.
"Things in my life ,'' Beast Boy stated.
"Do you want to talk about it ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"I don't know ,'' he replied , "Maybe.''
The thunder started to rumble.
"It's going to rain ,'' Jinx said , "We should get back inside.''
"Why ? ,'' he asked , "I like it out here.''
"You do ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"The rain soothes me ,'' Beast Boy stated.
"Really ? ,'' she asked.
"Yeah ,'' Beast Boy replied , "When I lived in Africa I used to stay awake at night and then it would start to rain. It always helped me get to sleep.''
"I didn't know that ,'' Jinx said.
"Now you do ,'' he stated.
"How long did you live in Africa ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"Ten years ,'' Beast Boy said.
"That's a long time ,'' she replied , "I got thrown out of my house by the time I was fifteen and then I met up with the Hive. I was with them for a while and now I'm with you and the Titans and I couldn't be happier.''
"Ah ,'' Beast Boy said , "Do you like the rain , Jinx ?''
"Yeah ,'' Jinx replied , "I guess.''
It started to pour.
"Oh , shit ,'' she said , "Let's get under the Awning.''
They ran under the awning and sat down cross-legged beside each other. Jinx shook the water out of her hair and looked at the sky.
"I like the rain too ,'' Beast Boy said , "It's calming and it can bring out the good qualities in people.''
"Good qualities ? ,'' Jinx asked.
"Yeah ,'' he said.
"Explain , Beast Boy ,'' Jinx demanded.
"Well ,'' Beast Boy replied , "The rain shows that you're a very kind , caring and loving person. It also shows that deep down you have a crush on someone.''
Jinx blushed.
"Really ? ,'' she asked.
"Yeah ,'' Beast Boy said , "You're blushing.''
"No I'm not ,'' Jinx stated.
"Dude , you are so blushing ,'' he said.
"I am not ,'' Jinx replied.
"Jinx has a crush on someone ,'' Beast Boy sang , "Jinx has a crush on someone. Jinx has a crush -
Jinx slapped him and sent him flying ten feet across the roof.
"SHUT UP , BEAST BOY ! ,'' she shouted.
"Owwwwwww ,'' Beast Boy moaned on the floor.
Jinx stormed off.
Later Beast Boy walked down from the roof of the tower and walked down the hall. He walked by Jinx's room. Suddenly a hand grabbed him and pulled him in to the room. The figure threw him on the bed , laid on top of him and pressed their lips against his. The figure stopped kissing him and looked at him.
"I love you , Beast Boy ,'' Jinx said letting him go.
Beast Boy walked out of the room letting the door shut behind him.
"I love you too , Jinx ,'' he said.
