Ok, I don't own Jeff Hardy or Beth Britt. I wish I owned Jeff... -fantasizes- anyway... this is a short story that just popped into my head one day. please don't hate me! I was nice to Beth in this story. The other stories that I will be posting later on, you will all understand why Beth does not exist in those stories, because I'm a bitch to my main characters... I'm so mean to them all (except the guys, for some strange reason I'm always nice to the guys... o.O) But this is the one and only Beth story I will probably ever write, so please don't hate me! I don't like being mean to real people (even if they are just characters in a story for once...)
Comfort in the Arms of an Angel
He found her silently crying in the dressing room. He was upset, pissed, wanted to kill someone, but most of all, he was worried about his baby girl. She was curled up in the corner, clutching her shirt in her hands; it was too ripped up for her to actually wear it. His expression said it all – 'baby, don't cry. I love you and I'll always protect you'.
MVP had gone too far this time. She had come to cheer him on during his most important match of his entire career, and MVP ruined it all. Jeff's blood boiled at the memory of watching Beth and MVP wrestle with each other. He had wanted her to leave Jeff and go out with him, but Beth stood her ground, defended her boyfriend, and told him just where he could go. But MVP didn't like that idea, so he tried to force Beth into giving in to his demands. She fought back with the ferocity of a tiger. That was one of the things Jeff loved about Beth – she could fight and defend herself like no one's business. But the fight ended quickly when MVP got a hold of Beth's shirt and ripped it to shreds on live TV.
Jeff had been so mad; he didn't even see Beth run off, all he saw was MVP and the ring. His furry had been so great that the noise of the crowd was drowned out with his anger. MVP wouldn't be back for another few months according to the EMT's that took him away after Jeff was done with him.
He slowly walked up to Beth and pulled her into his embrace. She sobbed into his chest, embarrassed beyond belief at what had just happened. Jeff just held her close and whispered comforting words into her ear to calm her down. He would never let another guy get that close to Beth again. She wiped her tears on Jeff's shirt and looked up at him.
"You'll never leave me?" she asked suddenly. Jeff looked taken aback for a moment until he kissed her nose and smiled down at her.
"Never. You're mine, and forever will you stay mine."
Please read and review! It'll be much appreciated! I love you all! Thank you so much!
