Hey Guys! So this isn't really a fanfic, just a poem. For my English class, my teacher had us pick a picture, anything we want, and write about it. So I wrote mine on the scene where Mike reunites with Eleven in season 2 episode 8, after 353 days. The assignment was to use our five senses and describe the picture for the class, so it's not really what I felt, but rather how I thought the room, people, and Mike felt. So no, this is not a fanfic, just a poem for English class, but I hope you enjoy!

Silence.
Not a word is said, nor gasp escaped,
Only a beating heart.
"Bum-Bum," "Bum-Bum."
His wide mouth becomes dry,
Confusion in his eyes,
The room reeks of fear,
For he knows something has changed.
He felt alone,
for 353 days.
Now he is not alone, but is it true?
For so long, his eyes have deceived him.
Can he really believe what he sees?
We are in shock after all this time,
Can it really be true?
"Bum-Bum," "Bum-Bum."
The room feels warmer,
Nerves overcoming his body.
He can't feel a thing, but yet is so overwhelmed.
Fear, confusion, sorrow,
But he is fearless, grateful, overjoyed.
"Bum-Bum," "Bum-Bum."
His fear disappears,
His heart falls back into place,
And finally after 353 days,
He is not lost, he is not alone,
He has Her.
