Chapter 1: A New Beginning

It was nearing the end of Naruto and Sasuke's final battle when the Chidori and Rasengan clashed, sending out a gigantic pulse of energy, seemingly ripping time from its place.

Naruto woke up to find he was in a pitch black room. When he tried to move he cringed slightly and let out a small groan, he felt as though he had just fallen from the Hokage's Tower and failed to land properly. Realizing that he had just been fighting Sasuke, he turned his head slowly, looking around the room, but what he found surprised him more than almost anything that had happened before. He was in his room in Konoha, the apartmnet the Third Hokage had given to him. Mustering his strength he eventually managed to stand, walking over to the tiny apartment's bathroom, he leaned over the sink, feeling slightly smaller than normal, he looked up into the mirror and jumped back, pointing at the mirror and letting a quiet squeak of surprise, he reached up and touched his face, feeling his once baby fat covered face again, pouting slightly mulling over how this had happened in his head, he thought back to himself fighting Sasuke earlier, realizing what had happened, he sat down and started to meditate, panicking slightly before he entered his mindscape, a dark and dingy sewer like place he had seen many times before, he searched around before seeing the giant red gate sealed, sighing in relief he walked over to it, rising himself up on the water before speaking

"Hey, Kurama, you in there?" What happened next surprised him the most, Kurama's claw swept past him, nearly cutting him in half, though he managed to avoid it by entering Sage Mode and sending himself backwards, though even the split second he was in Sage Mode managed to wear him down heavily, surprising him when he tried to enter it again and found that he couldn't, muttering to himself "My body must not be able to handle it at this age…"

"Handle what Kit…?"

Naruto looked up, smirking slightly before speaking

"Sage Mode, Kurama."

"Right, well, open my cage and I'll explain what happened to you and how you ended up here to the best of my abilities."

Nodding, Naruto undid the seal looking over to Kurama, who was smirking, before sitting down in a meditative posture, looking up to Kurama, the massive beast, laying down before beginning to speak.

"Well, Kit, you and Sasuke managed to send yourselves back to the day before graduation of the Ninja Academy."

"I already figured that part out...except for the Ninja Academy part...but...how?" Naruto replied

"Let me explain to ya' Kit" Kurama retorted before continuing on "When your attacks clashed the amount of chakra and power within them sent a ripple through space and time, like a space time jutsu that is much more powerful than anything else, it sent you back all

the way Kit." Kurama finished speaking before laying his head across the water.

Naruto nodded, pretending to understand fully before shrugging and walking towards his door, leaving his apartment to go to the academy, though he seemed calm, in his head he was completely freaking out about what he was going to do.
