Finn and Marcy had been together for years now. He had everything he wanted. There wasn't a problem in the world. He woke up next to a smiling Marceline. She may not have needed to sleep, being a vampire, but she still spent most nights with him. He kissed his wife.

"How'd you sleep?"

"Very funny, dweeb."

"Heh heh. PB called me and Jake in today. I gotta go beat some wizard butt."

Marceline frowned. "There's a lot of quests you've been going on lately. Maybe you should take a week to yourself."

"Nah, its cool. I got this nice ass sword now. Me and Jake got it covered."

"Alright, hero. Well do you got breakfast covered?"

"Aw man. Yeah."

"Good. I'm gonna be chilling with Simon today."

"I thought you hated seeing the Ice King."

"Well, yeah, but I figuired with betty around every now and then, what if i can, you know, help him?"

"Marcy...what if helping him won't-"

"Finn, I need to do this. Simon was always there for me. I need to be there for him."

"Okay. I'll be back laters... just gonna be helping peebles with some wizard that's been being a butt."

"Which wizard?"

"A new dude. Time wizard."

"Time wizard? He sounds pretty tough. Maybe you should let the banana guards or Rattleballs handle it this time."

"I can handle him, it'll be rightous." He made that dimpled smile, and after kissing his wife and newborn daughter goodbye, he ran outside to a waiting Jake. As he rode his brother to the Candy Kingdom, he thought on how worried Marcy was. He shrugged it off as her just being a worrysome wife. He'd grown up alright, growing to his quite intimidating height of 6' 1'. He'd stopped wearing his hat, well, he had converted it to a hoodie by havong jake sew it onto his shirt. He'd started wearing long jeans instead of knee cuts, as they where far more practical for his usual activites. He'd gotten a new sword by using accidentally using a combination spell on his grass sword and a magic jewel. He now weilded a sword made of an unbreakable green gem that could retract into a bracelet and do pretty much whatever his grass sword could do. He'd mastered using it, being able to shape it into a sleeve for his arm, a hammer, anything.

"Hey, Finn, Jake, glad you two could come. I need your help. A new wizard has been terrorizing the candy citizans by sending them days or weeks in the future."

Pepperment butler appeared out of nowhere holding a shattered cup of tea.

"Pr-Princess. Here's your tea. Oh. Oh dear I'll get some more."

"I asked for that five days ago."

"I'm sorry Princess."

"I'm having an important meeting."

"Okay Princess, I'll go now. Call if you need anything."

Finn and Jake were already on the way to find the guy. The closer they got to him, the more frequently random candy people would appear, wondering how they had gotten there. But when they actually saw who it was their jaws dropped.

"MAGIC MAN! STOP TERRORIZING CANDY PEOPLE!"

Finn leapt at Magic Man, yelling the last word far too long. Magic Man didn't even hesitate or say anything clever, he just zapped him, and Finn was gone in a flash.
