Alright so I rewrote this story , not only because it had an lot of grammar issues , but I think I want to continue on it possible make it more then an one shot.
Just the Friend - Chapter 1
Normal P.O.V
Hermione watched the newly married couple as they danced the first wedding dance of the evening. What would be consider the greatest day for some people was actually the worst for one person in the room that night. For 2 years, Hermione was in love with her best friend. You, would think love would come before 10 years of friendship but for Hermione Granger it came during. Denying for it so long to herself only made the pain of watching Ginny and Harry only made it worst as her heart broke.
Hermione P.O.V
Everything that you could ever image about why, you fell for a guy I did exactly that.
His smile, and the way his hair would never truly be tamed.
And the way his hero complex comes at the worst time possible , putting everyone first before himself.
But, the one thing that I loved the most was his eyes, those stunning green eyes that shined.
Yet, unfortunately those eyes shined for her and only her.
I felt like screaming and letting him know, how I truly felt about him and about us, but I know throwing a fit and pleading with him in front of the audience will do nothing. I had my chance last week after we woke up tangled in each arms and blew it.
But at last I shall not do that to Harry or Ginny.
As he leans in and kisses her, my heart breaks even more as he holds her closer as they dance, swaying to the music.
Merlin, I want to cry so bad.
No, that would even cause a scene at the biggest night of my two best friends life. And Hermione Granger does not cause a scene, and I will not start today.
"Happiness and true happiness may seem similar, but yet there different." replied a voice next to me.
Turning I noticed Luna standing her bridesmaid dress, looking at me with her knowing eyes.
"Luna. What you mean?" I whispered to my blonde friend as I wiped the tears that were threatening to fall.
Luna smiled sadly, understanding the pain I was feeling and pointed down at my engagement ring.
"One can be happy, but true happiness is the one people never truly have." Saying dreamily turning back to the couples on the dance floor.
"My true happiness is not important to where his is." I understood what she was hinting at, but I refused.
Ginny caught my eye as I stared at them, dancing as couples surround them. Smiling she gave a little wave, before turning her attention back to Harry, her smile growing even wider. Her happiness shines bright, lighting up the entire room.
Who I'm kidding their happiness for each other was all I cared about.
I see her run a hand through his hair as they make small talk and laugh before they kiss again.
They both look stunning her in the white and Harry in the black wizard robes. While, I look like plain jane is my maid of honor dress.
I looking around the room at the other guest, I catch Ron staring at me.
He waves excitedly and moves away from the group standing around him, as he starts to come closer to me. I put on my own smile and wave at him, but whereas his is real mine is fake.
The smile that hides the pain and the hurt, like I was taught to hold when things did not go your way.
Harry is happy and who I'm to deny him that happiness.
So that is the first part , like , favorite or leave an comment something so I know you enjoy it.
