2 of my favourite characters in Danganronpa are Leon Kuwata and Aoi Asahina, and I noticed there are hardly any fics about the 2, so I decided to write one myself.

It was the middle of the day at Hope's Peak Academy, currently, the Ultimate Swimming Pro, Aoi Asahina, was on her way to the cafeteria to get some donuts, she quickly grabbed a bag of her favourite treats when she noticed someone sitting in the far corner, the spiked red hair, piercings and white jacket showed that it was none other than the Ultimate Baseball Star, Leon Kuwata. Hina could see that Leon was listening to music, she knew something was up, so she walked up to him to talk.

"Hey Leon, what's wrong?" asked Hina

Leon looked at Hina before turning off his music player.

"Nothing, I'm fine" said Leon

"Don't try to fool me, Leon, I know that whenever there's something wrong with you, like your grandfather died, or your parents divorced, you always listen to music on your own, and if I could go into more detail, you're listening to Three Day's Grace, am I wrong?" asked Hina

Leon looked at his music player, she was right about the band.

"What does it matter?" asked Leon

"Leon, there's something wrong, you'll feel better if you tell someone" said Hina

Leon sighed in defeat.

"Sayaka broke up with me" said Leon

"What? Why?" asked Hina

"We wanted different things, I thought that since we had been together for so long we should take out relationship to the next level" said Leon

"And what did she want?" asked Hina

"She wanted to break up" said Leon

"Well, I'm sure you'll find someone else soon, plenty of fish in the sea" said Hina

"Thanks for that" said Leon, cracking a smile

Hina got up to leave, when Leon realised something.

"Hey, wait, Aoi..." said Leon

Hina stopped and turned around.

"How did you know that I listen to music when I'm depressed? And how did you know what band I was listening to? And how did you know about my grandfather's death and my parent's divorce?" asked Leon

Hina's smile dropped slightly, she sat back down and set down the bag of donuts.

"Leon, you don't recognize me, do you?" asked Hina

"I think someone like you would be easy to recognize" said Leon

"Think back to when we were 5, when you cheered me up..." said Hina

==Flashback==

A 5 year old Aoi Asahina sat on the front doorstep of her new house, crying her eyes out, her mother had just bought a new house after Hina's father died in a car accident, now, it was just Aoi, her mother and Aoi's baby brother, Yuta.

"Hey, what's wrong?" asked someone

Hina looked to see a young boy, about her age, with short, spiky blonde hair with pale blue eyes.

"Oh, hi" said Hina

"You okay?" asked the boy

"No, this is the worst day of my life" said Hina

"Well, that's good" said the boy

"Huh?" asked Hina

"If today is really the worst day of your whole life, then tomorrow must instantly be better, so you have something to look forward to tomorrow" said the boy

Hina gave a small smile.

"Yeah, I guess you're right" said Hina

"My name's Leon, by the way, Leon Kuwata, I live right next door" said the boy

"My name's Aoi, Aoi Asahina, I'm your new neighbour" said Hina

"Cool, nice to meet you Aoi" said Leon

"LEON! Time for dinner!" called Leon's mother

"I'll see you later Aoi" said Leon

"You too Leon" said Hina

Leon ran to his house.

Leon was wide-eyed.
