-Finally Free-

Booth was finally free.

After months of being trapped in that hell he was finally changing back into an old Flyers t-shirt and jeans. Damndid it feel good to be out of that old, orange prison uniform. He still wasn't entirely sure exactly how the team had gotten him out (something about Bones blackmailing somebody?) but he didn't care about the details. He was finally going to see his girls again.

He dropped that god awful prison outfit on the counter with a smug and headed for the door. Outside rain was pounding against the concrete; it was coming down so hard the other side of the parking lot was nearly invisible. Booth stepped outside and was instantly grinning at the sight before him. Christine – how is it possible she could have grown so much in such a short period of time? – was running toward him, her little rainbow umbrella falling to the ground as she ran.

"Daddy!"

Booth dropped to his knees just in time to catch her as she collided into his chest. He wrapped his arms so tightly around her he was almost worried he would crush her. The rain drenched them, but Booth didn't give a shit. He had his little girl back.

"I missed you so much daddy," she cried against his chest.

"I missed you too baby."

He looked up when the feeling of the rain stopped – Brennan stood above them, shielding them with an umbrella. Booth stood, keeping Christine wrapped in his embrace.

"Bones," he breathed.

"We missed you," she smiled.

Booth moved so Christine was supported with one arm and wrapped his free arm around Brennan.

"God I missed you two so much," he said, placing a soft kiss on Brennan's lips.

"Come on," Brennan smiled. "Let's go home."
