"Warning, Metal Heads approaching" Vin heard a computerized voice say.
"Metal Heads!?" Vin was shocked. His worst fear was approaching soon. He
ran to the big computer pad rapidly. He pressed many buttons that were
glowing blue. "This should hold them off for a while" Vin said to himself.
He could hear the loud hits on the entrance door, but he had locked the
door through the pad. He was trapped inside his own power station! "I don't
want to die!" Vin shouted desperately. "I want to live to see Haven City
become a wonderful place," Vin continued, "I want to see a Haven City free
of Metal Heads!" The door was becoming weaker and weaker every moment. "I
want to live to see the sun shine waking up in the morning knowing that the
city will be safe!" Vin exclaimed. "Ever since I was a kid, I've fantasized
with living in a safe city" Vin said. He was sitting on the floor now; he
had given up all hope. He knew he was going to die now. "But now I know
that fantasy may come true, but I won't live to see it" Vin added. His eyes
were filling with tears. "My dreams are shattered, but I hope others with
the same dream I had get to see it become true" Vin said in tears. Vin
remembered the 1st time he saw a Metal Head. It was a small Metal Head in
his room when he was sleeping. Luckily, his dad came rushing through the
door and killed it with a chair. That childhood trauma is what made him be
so jumpy nowadays. "What do I do now?" Vin asked himself. Suddenly, he
thought of an answer. Why just wait for them to die and not let anybody
know? He had time to use the communicator once more. The person suddenly
came to his mind. "Jak! I'm going to tell Jak!"
Vin rushed for his communicator. He ordered the signal to be sent to Jak and pressed the "Talk" button. He told Jak that Metal Heads were almost there and that he was going to die. Jak was worried. He offered to go there, but Vin just said "It's okay, I'll die bravely and not as a coward." Trembling, Vin dropped the small communicator on the floor and sat there laying his back on the wall. Soon, the Metal Heads smashed through the wall and hurried towards him. Vin saw their sharp teeth and gulped. "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" were Vin's last words. He died 1 of the worst deaths ever. He was eaten alive by a pair of evil creatures. He died with courage. He fought for the safety of the city and he didn't know how much he helped. Haven City was going to change a lot after his death...
