Tomato Soup
Helen knew that her daughter had always been a little bit different then the rest of the children. Well first of all she lived in a place that would have given most other children nightmares. But her daughter loved these creatures. Raising a child was harder than anything that Dr Magnus had ever done. With all its surprises and mysteries. So when Ashley and Henry came in from playing in the snow it didn't surprise her in the bit that they had very little snow clothing on. Henry had his hot blood from his wolfie side and Ashley in a spring coat soaked to the core. She had never been one to where heavy protective clothing. She said it made her reflexes slower. So on this day in the earlier part of her childs life she preceded as she had so many other days. Stripped the children and dried them off. She pulled out there favorite pair of pjs and dressed them. After she was content with the job she had done drying Ashley's long beautiful hair she went them downstairs and made them hot coco. She preceded on with her day normally until she walked by her daughters room and heard a sneeze. Knowing Ashley she never sneezed so Helen decided to check it out. What she saw was impossible. Her little girl laying on her bed coved in so many blankets it looked like a mountain. Bigfoot was there feeling the girls forehead. As Helen stepped in he grunted "Ashley's sick. I take care of her."
"What seems to be the problem" she asked not missing a beat.
"Fever. From playing outside in snow." bigfoot said. Ashley had been playing outside all winter with out her jacket. Helen had insisted but knowing a 7 year old girl they have a mind of there own.
"Is there anything I can get you hun?" she asked not really knowing how she could help. She had her motherly instincts but her heart was in the sciences. She loved her daughter more than anything, more than her job, her ex husband even more then Steve but she had very little experience dealing with sickness in humans because of the source blood.
"Yes, mom." she croaked out. It seemed that what ever she had got she had lost her voice too.
"Anything my little Ashley, you know that" Helen said.
"Soup please" Helen smiled at her daughter polightness even when she was sick.
"Sure honey. How about chicken noodle? That's what everyone else eats while they are sick"
"No mom. I want tomato. With crackers please" Helen was confused at this request but she hurried off to her kitchen to make some soup for her little angel.
20 minutes later she took the soup and crackers with some oranges up to Ashley's room.
"Is there any particular reason you didn't want chicken noodle soup?" she asked.
"Yes mom, there is..."
so? what do you think? did you like it or not? Once i figure out how to end it i will. :) Chow!
