I walked down the empty, quiet town that I lived in. I walked down the quiet, lonly sidewalk and went to the cemetary. If you haven't guessed it already i might as well tell you now. I was an orphan, one without a family and lived in a foster home from hell. The foster mother was strict and never playful or fun. Anyways I walked up to my parent's graves and payed my respects and sat down for about ten minutes looking around at the flowers. They were in all pretty colors like blue, yellow, and purple.
I got up and kept walking, head down like all the other teenagers, but sometimes i looked up to see the clouds or a bird if I'm lucky. I went to the city limits and looked back carefully and broke into a run. My legs got the best of me in 10 minutes and i slowed down, then stopped, panting. Looking around and I saw the meadow that I spent basicly all my time in just running,dancing, and just resting. I looked around again before speaking again.
"There we go." I said to myself, "now I'm free from Mrs. Mick." Then burt out into a laugh when i said the name out-loud. Man that has got to be the WORST last name for anyone to have! I thought and sat down a rock. I gazed at the flowers from the field I picked up earilier I brought.
I was feeling the cool, smooth, and thick texture of the rock when something caught my eye. It was red, and fluttering all around me. Flowers? I thought as I went up from my rock and walked up to the swarm of petals raining from the sky.
I forgot to tell you but my name is Alyx Depachu, not that you need to know that but I beleive it may help you understand about me. The petals were slowing down when i had a handful of petals. There's something...strange about these flowers. I thought as I heard something falling and saw a shadow right next to me. I barely managed to jump out of the way as the boulder came crashing down right next to me as well as other rocks, some smaller and some larger. Then something landed on me and I fell unconscious when the object knocked the breath out of me as rocks rained from the sky for 5 to 10 minutes before I woke up, still under the heavy object. I looked at my watch and saw it busted and I tried to pull myself out but without any avail. I sighed as I layed there surprised I wasn't bleeding but bruised badly.
Then later I heard something land behind me and then lift the rock or what ever it was off of me. I turned my head to see who helped me and saw a green creature, probably a dragon of some kind, and saw tall teenager with some kind of rabbit-creature with him and then he just...left. Left me alone to be by myself and soon got up barely and saw what looked like a platform.
This was a strange object it had a rocket propeller. the platform, and a moniter above the object and tryed to activate it but no avail. I knew it won't work but it didn't hurst to try. I thought as I hid it next to the rocks and went back to the foster home.
