I don't own Dangan Ronpa.
I know this is my second or third Christmas fic this month and I know this one is late, but I wrote it a while back and wanted to share it. Hope y'all enjoy it, despite the shortness.
Celes glared at the bright lights in her girlfriend's hands. They went through this every year. Kyouko knew she hatred bright colorful lights and yet insisted upon getting decorations as soon as Halloween was over. Yes, neither of them really celebrated thanksgiving, but that was no reason to buy the annoyingly garish decorations so soon.
"Kyouko, no."
"Celes, it will be Christmas soon." Kyouko replied, holding up the lights for purchase. "We need lights for the tree."
"Can't we buy them later?" Celes huffed, crossing her arms as she glared at the lights once more.
"No, we need to get them now. Christmas is soon. We wouldn't have to get them now except you insist upon shredding the lights every new year's eve."
Celes turned her head away. It was true. Every new year's eve, she brought out the Christmas decorations and proceeded to utterly destroy them. She refused to have them in her possession after the year began. Turning back to her girlfriend, Celes pouted. "Why must we get them so early? You have more than a month left!"
"Because the good decorations will be gone in a month." Kyouko responded calmly. "And as you insist that you want the best, I wish to strive to make that happen for you. We can only get the best decorations now."
Celes grit her teeth and sighed. "Fine, but you're making me cookies this time. Last year, you didn't even leave me one!"
