Forever
She held the hand of her four year old daughter Sakura and tears flow rapidly down her cheeks. Sakura looked up at her mother with her big golden cat-like eyes she inherited from her mother and that innocent look she got from her father. "Are you okay Mommy?" she asked. Her mother slowly got down to her knees and looked her child in the face and smiled weakly.
"I'll be just fine", she whispered, "now go find your uncle Gohan, you'll be staying with them tonight okay?"
"Okay, bye Mommy!" Sakura hugged her mom and went off to find Gohan.
Ria looked at the tombstone in front of her and began to sob uncontrollably. She glared angrily at the sky which was a bright cerulean blue and not a cloud in sight. In her hand she held a gift that was given to her by him the day she was born. It was a small heart locket, pure gold with a star carved into it, and a bright green emerald in the middle of the star. She continued to glare at the sky and whispered "Why did you have to take him away from me now? He'll miss the birth of Bra's first child……." She couldn't continue because she became overwhelmed with sorrow. Through her mind she heard the last thing he told her…… "Ria…….listen to me……I will always, always be with you. Forever."
She whispered….. "Well dad……forever isn't long enough….."
She felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned and saw Bulma. "We'll all miss Vegeta a lot….….I think you'll miss him the most……but everything will be just fine."
Ria stood up walked over and kneeled down next to the tombstone and layed her locket down in front of the grave marker. She looked at the grave one more time and whispered "Forever." Bulma had already left, Ria could see Goten walking towards her, so she walked a little faster and when they met he pulled her close and they started home.
