Dagger: I promise you now that all the characters that aren't in the manual belong to me, and everything else belongs to Squaresoft. DO NOT SUE ME!!!

One year after Sephiroth and Jenova were destroyed. The Planet was safe. Meteor was stopped. The Weapons were destroyed. ShinRa, although under new management, returned to other ways of producing electricity and dropped materia production to a mere five percent of what it had been. AVALANCE was taking a well deserved vacation. However, one person watched all this peace and celebration with disgust. Her name was Silver.

Silver was around nineteen or twenty, (she hadn't really kept track), with short, silky silver hair and sparkling, live wire eyes. She was dressed in all black with a thin cloak covering her lower face and body from any interested passerby. She was standing on a rise a little ways away from Midgar. Reconstruction on Sector 7 had began, the people and machinery in the distance nothing more but pinpricks. Silver let her breath out, removing a piece of materia from her cloak. It was a black, grey, and purple, throbbing ball of energy and it pulsated at her furiously. Silver nodded.

"A little while longer," she whispered. "Just a little while longer, and then I will start the ceremony." The materia, obviously pleased, stopped throbbing angrily. Silver smiled and removed the second materia piece: a light pink-white swirled one. It glowed slowly and at ragged intervals, like it was sleeping. Silver smirked.

"You'll be with your friends soon enough. Don't worry." Silver lifted her hand to the wind and hurled the pink materia towards Midgar. Silver turned briskly and began to walk towards the coast. The materia would find its friends. It was almost an ensured theory.

In Midgar, Sector 7 stood Cloud, taking a break from the rebuilding process. It had taken almost an entire year to clear out the debris and rubble from the fallen plate and people were finally started to pick their lives back up. Cloud let a breath out and looked over the foundations for Tifa's new bar. It was going to be a bit larger than the last one, and less of an eyesore for it was too be made out of wood or concrete instead of bits and pieces of slum rubble and debris. Suddenly, something smacked against his head, laying the SOLDIER flat. Cloud rubbed his head, looking about wildly for what had hit him. Next to him lay a pink materia orb, glowing as if it wanted to tell him something. Cloud picked it up, looking it over. It held a sort of familiarity to him, and it gave him a strong urge to visit Aeris's church. He looked up towards the rest of the team, who were hard at work on the foundations.

"Hey guys!" he called out. "I'm going to go see Aeris's church for a minute, okay?" Barret glared at him, cement solidifying on his cheek.

"You better hurry your spiky ass back, y'here!?" he shouted. Cloud shrugged it off and jogged in the direction of the church.

"Be back in a bit!"

Dagger: Okay, I'll update once I get three reviews, alright? Three reviews doesn't seem that bad, huh folks?
