Verse: Percy Jackson and Supernatural Crossover

Disclaimer: I own nothing, except the idea
He's always a vessel, always waiting to be filled. Once it was Kronos the Titan. Now it's Michael the Archangel. No matter what he does, no matter who he is, it seems that he is never good enough to be himself. The Fates, God, whoever is controlling the world has never deemed him important enough to live a life for himself, not once. He doesn't understand, will never understand because he will always be gone, filled and emptied and dead, before he can wrap his head around the truth. He is filled because he needs to be, because he will save the world. No one else has the power to, the ability to, because no one else's spirit is pure enough to handle sacrificing itself over and over just to make sure the world doesn't end. Sometimes he is perceived as good, sometimes he is perceived as evil, but every time it is him who keeps the world in balance. He (Luke, Adam, whatever his name is in that life) is the keeper of the balance of the world. But he never sees that, only sees himself as a vessel, always empty, never good enough to be filled.
Maybe one day he'll see. Until then he's just empty.
