Love Written in Blood

Naruto didn't consider himself special… and Sasuke knew this, because no matter how many times he told Naruto that he was special, the baka didn't believe him…
Sasuke sat in the waiting room of the mental hospital that Naruto currently resided in. Three years ago, they had put his precious Naruto in this hospital for his constant suicide attempts. Later, after Naruto had been taken in, Sasuke confessed his undying love and admiration for the beautiful, blond, idiot. Naruto's mind was in a different universe though, and the confession had no effect whatsoever. Sasuke had known many years before any of this had happened that the stupid blond had feelings for him, but he chose to ignore it, hoping that maybe, just maybe, his feelings would fade. He didn't realize how horrible his mistake would turn out though.
Sasuke clenched his fist and tried to hold in his tears… Why had he done this to Naruto? Why didn't he think about the consequences that would happen because of his actions?
", you can visit now" said the smiling nurse at the counter, he rose and nodded in her general direction. Even though he had visited the boy many times before, his palms were still sweaty every time. He slowly turned the knob of his best friend's door.
"Naruto?" he said quietly. "Oh… Sasuke, you came…" replied the worn out blond, who was still in his bed half asleep. "Of course baka, haven't I told you that I love you? And that I will see you no matter what the cost?" he sat down on Naruto's bed and softly encased the other's hand in his.
"You don't mean it… " "I know you don't mean it!" the other boy shouted, tears streaming down his face. Sasuke grabbed Naruto's wrist and pulled him into a reassuring hug "why won't you believe me Naruto? Why? How many times to I have to tell you...?" "You tried to kill me! Teme… Is that what you call love?" Sasuke sighed and released the boy… "No, no it's not…but I didn't love you then baka, but I love you now."
Sasuke looked over at the blond who was now whispering things to himself and clawing at his arm, drawing blood… "Baka, don't you love me?" Naruto looked up and stopped his clawing, "Sasuke, it hurts, it hurts too much for me to love you…" "It hurt so much worse when you didn't love me though"
The blond slowly rose, Sasuke stiffened, this might not turn out well. The sickly blond had tried to kill him numerous times before. "Naruto, sit down" said Sasuke. Naruto didn't answer but slowly creped his way towards Sasuke, once he reached him he entwined his arms around the black haired boy's neck.
'Naruto has never done this before' the hairs stood up on the back of Sasuke's neck. As the blond whispered something in his ear, Sasuke's eyes widened and he sank to the cold stone floor. Blood seeped from the wound in Sasuke's side. Naruto knelt down beside the boy, with a bloody pen in his hand. He traced Sasuke's beautiful and delicate facial features with his long, slender fingers. Naruto leaned over his writhing love and placed a kiss on his cheek, as he did so he ran his fingers through the pool of the dying boy's blood. "N-Naruto? Why?" The blond boy looked at the helpless boy with a crazed look, leaned down to the boy's ear and whispered, "I love you, Sasuke"
Only days afterword, Uzamaki Naruto, committed suicide. The only thing that the mental boy left was a note, scratched out in his own blood… The eerie handwriting read "Please bury me by my love… -Uzamaki Naruto"
